Once someone links me statement from a studio's homepage, or from some trusted animemagazine that they are making a second season, I will start to belive in it, but until then, it's pointless to decline anything based on imagination and google search results and all sort of fan wishes and petitions. Peace again.

There were hundreds of petitions ever since the series ended in 2004. Yes, i was almost 8 (EIGHT) years ago. The series itself was a kind of failure in Japan, it had limited succes in the west => no money in continuing it. No studio gives a shit to any petition anyway. I would be the happiest the series were continued, but it isn't a good thing to live in illusions because of a stupid petition.

I'm not to sure but... Nyu horns represent lucy, when Nyu gets hurt or in danger she turns into Lucy that basically her other personality. Nyu got her last horn shot off and that could means that Lucy is dead but.... Nyu is still alive...

I don't think this rumor about there being a second season is true. They already ended the the series and there isn't really a way for them to continue to get a ending similar to the manga. Also there are no news anywhere about a second season being in production.

@xNocturnalKnightx The thing is, unlike the EL anime, Hellsing was popular enough both in and outside of Japan to warrant a remake or OVA series. EL doesn't have nearly enough ratings or money made to get a remake, especially for the anime. I'd personally love a version more faithful to the manga.

All this stuff about new season sounds like complete bullshit. I'll believe it when somebody gives proof from a legitimate site.

@ReroOnyx You'd probably be right there. As popular as EL is outside of Japan, it is a cult-hit IN Japan. And we know how that tends to go when the Japanese themselves have less to say about something in a manga/anime/game *cough*capcom*cough*.

And then there is the fact that one of our favorite animes is also kinda...you know, INfamous. Though that might be kind of funny in hindsight itself because of a certain scene involving a baby in Hellsing.
