I freedive. to achieve 1.2 meters/second you need at least an old monopalm, and this guy doesn't even have freediving fins. they are scubadiving fins, which are to hard to do the job. plus you can see him all the way down and up. even in the red sea the water wouldn't be that clear watching from the surface to 30 meters. even 20 meters is unrealistic, you can well see the bottom.
I'm not an expert, but the full dive takes 50 seconds. If it was 30 mt deep (60 meters for reach the bottom and resurface), the vertical speed of the divers was 1,2 meters/second. Normally is between 0,5 and 0,8. 1,2 meters will be really fast.

We all have depth meters and dive computers, so every our dive is carefully recorded and we have evidence for what we are doing
