I disagree with #1 ... the only reason he was able to make that save is cause the post saved his ass, the "best save of all time" should be a save, not random luck followed by a save.

Uh, count much? There are 2 Pens saves in there not 3. The Pietrangelo save was sick and turned the series. An argument could be made that the Caron save does not belong, but he made up for his mistake with a lot of effort and a bit of luck.

Uh, count much? There are 2 Pens saves in there not 3. The Pietrangelo save was sick and turned the series. An argument could be made that the Caron save does not belong, but he made up for his mistake with a lot of effort and a bit of luck.

Lol #4 = fail. have you ever heard of ryan miller? or Nabokov? plus two of those where the puck squeaks through and he turned around to stop it should never even have to make that save. And more glove saves. they look sick.

@siege60 Have you ever heard of a goaltender being able to have the concentration and focus to hit the puck out of mid air? And also being able to have the strength in his wrist to hold his stick up like that and stop an NHL players shot? Obviously not if you think that's a fail. And by the way if you knew anything about hockey you would see that Nabokov is save #9 in double OT playoffs. Nice try though! Next time you comment like that, think before you type it out! Theres an idea!

Just kidding, of course. I've always hated the Brathwaite save, though, because it was his fault it slipped through his legs in the first place, which is why he sucks so much nowadays.

given the situation, i think number 5 with frankie should be two and Calgary's number one. But I remember the game with Caron's crazy save (number one here) and that had to be one of the craziest hockey games I've ever watched. Refer to Talbots first goal for a less goalie spectacular moment from that same game
