  • fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap hushusahusahu

  • nice 1 dude....

  • I don't understand how this works

  • @Lightissoright simple, the hot air accumulated in the cylinder pushes the pistonout

and the wheel's movement pushes the piston in

  • Very cool engine though! I want one!

  • Dear Santa...

  • u could use the hand on the bottom to jerk urself off

  • SCHEMATICS DESIGNS FORMULAE I WANT THEM!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey friend can u help me i m in second year mechanical engineering, And i want to make a stirling engine as u made for my lab innovation project so can u help me out about the designing and working of it i m not getting from where shall i start

And its an awesome engine made by You Great Job

  • I want one!

  • this is a warp drive

  • chooooooooooooooo chooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its a train :D

  • i dont know anything about engineering but may i ask why did you put the fire in order to make the engine going?

  • i was blown away by this when i watched it! SWEET!

  • You'd need a shaft connected to this going into a generator to harness the mechanical energy and transfer it to electrical energy. And no, there is no free electricity. You input heat into the system.

  • This is really cool, I wonder how much torque it will generate

  • That thing can chop your finger off!

  • i want one like this, any good ideas where i can buy one? a google search was pretty useless, ended up with shammy looking ones

  • add a dildo and u got a free assfuck :O

  • Its a good generator as long as the fuel from that lamp is burning. But how about this one, If u could find a way to dig a pipe all the way down to the earth lava like those in Hawaii I think u can generate enough energy to light up the whole of Oahu FREE ok let them pay u for it and me too for the good Idea LOL.

  • can u explain the mechanism behind this model

  • @MultiHarish1 Have you ever thought about using a search engine to find a technical description of the operation of a Stirling Engine? You would not believe it but it is possible and takes only a few seconds! Isn't that amazing? The Internet is amazing!

  • Love the sound of that thing. :)

    chugchugchugchugchug

  • @Otacon144 thanks i like the sound it makes too

  • So is this how trains are run?

  • nice..........................

  • @sweetyahmad2006 thanks

  • This is a beta type stirling engine.

the metal divider linking the cylinder to the base acts as a heat sink.(the right side is colder than the left side). there are two pistons acting, one simply to displace the gas either to the cool side (for compression) or to the hot side (for the release), the second piston is what actually takes the power. when the displacement cylinder takes the space n the cold side, the gas heats and and starts the rotation; when it is on the hot side, vice versa.

  • my grany walks faster than thats

  • @saf768 lol...funny

  • @saf768 bet you couldnt make one though

  • @rossyallen2 made 3

  • @rossyallen2 there not hard to make if you know how to

  • @saf768 takes alot of precision and hard work

  • @saf768 LOL XD

  • Oh man, this is COOL.

  • @Adypie thanks

  • add a generator on the wheel and you got free energy :)

  • @117Alfonso not at all.

  • @117Alfonso voila! you got the idea right; unfortunately this ,model is just a sample model...

  • @dma98408 plus... the alcohol used on the wick is a form of fuel... so i guess snot 100% free.

  • @117Alfonso Not really free, u have to pay for the fuel...

  • @117Alfonso no there is no such thing as "free energy" you can neither create energy or destroy energy it will always be the same , and besides you have to replace the wick every two seconds and it dose not have enough power for a gene

  • @117Alfonso The idea for free energy doesnt exist as you have to have a spirit burning to generate power..

  • @117Alfonso nothing in this world is free..

  • @117Alfonso no free enegy,aren't you seeing oil ?

  • @117Alfonso Even if it had enough torque to turn a generator, it would not be free energy because it needs fuel for the flame.

  • @117Alfonso You still need a heat source to power the engine. If you used the sun, it would be no cost to run. But from a physics standpoint, it's not free energy.

  • @117Alfonso You'll need to burn stuff to generate heat... is not free, and is not clean...

But i must admit its beautiful

  • @117Alfonso yep that's what you should get, if the gas was free in the first place.

  • @117Alfonso Free? What's burning?

  • @117Alfonso Free? What's burning?Energy cannot be created, only converted.

  • Kool i totaly get it u should hook it up to a generator!!

  • i dont get it?

  • have you computed the work it could do with the specific amount of kerosene/denatured alcohol etc.?

  • Why don't they have cars like that?

  • where did you get the desine from?

  • Kw/kg.hr =???

    please!!

  • Choo Choo xD

  • wait, im such a nublet, what is the fire burning? like that metal tube thing. how is it making it go faster? is it just like a piston inside a cylender?

  • now all you need is a hamster wheel and a VERY curious hamster :P

  • This is first year mechanical engineering?

  • Can i have it?

Im wery lazy to masturbate by myself.

  • itss toooo goood can u breif its working? although its look simple n gr8

  • I have not the slightest idea how it works :)

  • TURN IT INTO A GIANT TRAIN OR COTTON CANDY MACHINE 8D

  • I have the same exact chairs

  • what can this technology be used for?

  • @RewardedArryunHacked

heat -> movement -> electricity (via a generator)

or just leave it at movement, and use it to propel a train or a car.

  • is this a displacer type stirling engines?

    whats your cold source?

  • könnte ich den gaaaanzen tag zu kucken^^ toll

  • what did you use as a displaser so that it doesn't melt with that much heat???? I'm trying to build my one

  • omg thats fast, man! awesome!

  • so its going faster ?

  • @GUILV123 yes it is.

    ;)

  • thats my table

  • @minoy318 thanks Edy

    haha

  • lokomotiva

  • @MsOndrej21 yes indeed!

  • Arrgh! waant! the levels of awesome radiating from this machine are melting my face this moment! Why Oh Why Can I Not Make One?! It just seems too impossible at my current stage..it's as though a force is compelling me to go forward and create one, but another, more succeeding one is pushing me back! D: I could BUY one at a reasonable price...VERY reasonable..charitable, in fact.

  • @therandomexample u can find simpler models for sale online, at a pretty reasonable price...check it out ;)

  • haha...interesting character you are :)

  • @therandomexample you can build one out of coke can and a wire coat hangar, look it up

  • Even though some say that this linkage style is inefficient because of friction, i like it the most out of all the stirling designs : )

  • @guitarsncarz thanks

  • tydy

  • tnx

  • heyy

wat material have u used inside the cylinder

  • the cold cylinder is made out of brass, i just put some lube inside it...

  • Is it feasible to heat this engine with solar power?

  • Yes, indeed they are using some solar powered stirling engines!!!

  • how does it work?

  • hard to explain in a couple of words, but its principle is based of the laws of thermodynamics with the heat exchange. You can find further info if u google the term or just go to wikipedia, they have neat graphics there and a good explanation. Let me know if u have any other question.

  • how much electricity could this produce?

  • thats hard to answer this question. This stirling engine of my video probably would not produce much, but they are using stirling engine powered by the sun with amazing results!

  • danisteba.. soh pra te lucrar aki.. kkkkk flw

  • keouns!!

    valeu Leoz!!!

  • then y r u watching it?

  • indeed!

    thanks

  • ta uma bosta esse negocio, ehehehehhe. to brincando

  • Valeu cara!!!

    obrigado pelo Clique

    ;)

  • e ai filhote, ficou muito massa hein! tô orgulhoso ;` )

  • Valeu meu Garoooto!!!!

  • hey i saw that first hand. it's your old roomie bo, guess who dick? lol

  • Hey BUDDY!!

    yeah i know!!!

    ahhaa

see how legit it is?? 63K and up views!

    yeahhhhhhh

    thanks for the comment!

  • like a mini locomotive is about to leave your table.... how wild.

  • ahhaha

    thanks

  • To start off, could you make a wooden base instead?

  • maybe, but i use a metal base to facilitate the thermal exchange....so i would say that a metal base would work better.

  • Where did you get the basic material to make this and what tools did you need?

  • for the best results...you gotta work on metal parts (brass, aluminum, etc) at a metal machine shop...

  • I love the linkage on this particular model :)

  • That Project just looks cool

  • thanks

  • *"how does it works?"

    cool

  • HEY im transfering to csun next year. Im a ME major. Can you tell me how CSUNS engineering department compares and differs with UCLAs and cal poly SLO? In terms of the professors. the hands on stuff you train with. finding a job after etc.

Dude i cant wait until i start learning how to build stuff like that!

  • its a hard comparison, all the other schools are also really good. I can only talk about CSUN, i find the faculty very friendly and accessible to the students, the job market still good and other than that you should consider the California Budget Crisis that is affecting the whole public educations system. I dont know when it all will be back to normality, but besides that either UCLA, Cal Poly or even CSUN are good Engineering Schools. Good Luck, and keep your enthusiasm!!!

  • how many rpm?

  • 620RPM

  • That little engine is very cool and I don't care what powers it or how useful it is. It's cool.

  • cool...

  • Comment removed

  • Funny fg

  • You guys kill me! Sterlings work because of scale. They're so small that they can ignore friction, and if you analyzed the amount of NRG transferred into the system vs. how much you got out, you would see a HUGE disappointment.

  • haha .. Nf = 0.0000000000000003

  • You just bundle a bunch of small ones together.. That's what they're doing in England with the new home generators that heat your water and produce your electricity running on natural gas and takes up the size of a typical water heater.

It's gonna be standard on all newly built homes.

  • All you need to do now is make a much bigger one and concentrate the sun onto it and you have the worlds greatest invention. Period.

  • There is actually one being constructed in the Mojave Desert in Southern California.

  • freakin sweet good job

  • It stated in the description that this was for a school project.

  • that is pretty fcking fast!

  • man you can make an automatic finger chopper with that

  • thats incredible. Looks simple but i bet its not.

  • That's really smooth. I have a steam powered engine similar to that, but it doesn't sound as smooth, probaly, because mine's over 100 years old. Anyway, thanks for posting the video.

I didn't make mine myself, obviously. You did a great job on that. You must have better machining skills than the average hackster out there.

    :)

  • This machine is good only on a big scale when it's fuel with solar energy and not any other kind of fuel from fosils. It's main use is to produce electricity which can be use to charge batteries for all kinds of porposes (including cars in the near future) and store electricity for any possible and imaginable need. Using fusil fuel defetes the purpouse of anergy savings and as solar energy is becoming cheaper to harness Stirling engines are the way to go due to their great performance!

  • if you don't have anything useful to say, don't say anything at all. And if you're trying to sound smart, you should learn to spell.

  • English is not my first language. If mispellings offend you, just know that none of us is perfect. In regards of my comments, it is just that, comments. Please don't take it so seriously. Peace!

  • if this engine is so good why are they not used in our every day life like- power generation, cars, etc.can any one please answer to my question...

  • scale and efficiency

  • yeah...there's some other videos on youtube...using solar energy!

    really good and clean idea!!

  • Where can I get one? I want one!!!

  • thats very efficient!

  • Damn it goes fast!

  • but he was using a small flame......try a blow torch XD

  • yeah...you are right...but i was afraid that a torch would damage the hot air piston...u know?another way to improve the speed is to put some ice in the cold piston to increase the temperature difference

  • could that generate electricity?

  • yes it could, there are some projects that they are using the solar rays in order to heat one of the pistons.....VERY CLEAN and efficient way to use solar energy. Its worth to check it out...

there's some videos here on youtube...solar + stirling engine...

  • how much is it?

  • Excellent job, well done

  • thanks

    ;)

  • Nice job on the engine, Daniel! You all even got the "N" logo onto the base there.

How did you measure the revs per minute?

Keep it polished up and the device will sit proudly on your desktop or trophy case for decades!

  • Thank you. Yeah we used a cnc machine to keep the N logo.

we used a device that counts the revs.

i will definitely keep it as a souvenir on my desk!

  • someone explain to be how this works?

  • converts heat into mechanical work with that piston somehow

  • The difference in temperature/pressure on both sides of the piston pulls it back and forth.

  • porra mermao...se garantiu..

    botou quente nos gringo...

    iouehuiehuoi

    parabens!

  • We so earned it man. We won :D

  • gr8! Now build a train and use it to come to Brazil in december! LOL!

    Se ligue!

  • good job!
