4th ID takes Utah Beach for the 4th year in a row! Great game to both sides, even if the Allies fell short in the end. 4th ID did our job, and took the 1st Causeway points.
All in all, I had a great time again at D-Day. I hope everyone else did too!
We were there, and we were in a Tiger tank guarding the flank. Haul it there every year, 24hr drive but goddammmmm is the funnest thing you will ever do. Join the AXIS we have cookies! 21st panzers all the way!!!!!!
Pretty cool...but it said that Roosevelt would be the only General landing with the troops, carrying a cane and a pistol; I hope they didn't mean the actual war, because Roosevelt was the CIC, not a General, and I doubt his polio OR his Cabinet OR Command Staff would let him board a boat to Normandy with the first wave. :D
Sorry, but your thinking of the wrong Roosevelt, yes there are multiple Roosevelts. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., or Theodore Roosevelt II was the eldest son of President Theodore Roosevelt. He lead led the 4th ID ashore, he died later that year of a heart related problem. He is a Medal of Honor Reciepient, as well. He fought in both World Wars, his heart problem coming injuries he sustained in the first World War.
If it was FDR, that would be a feat in itself! Plus, I couldn't fit his whole name in my old editing software. Though without a chair could be a dead give away, not to bash anyone in anyway. :)
that would be one hell of a road trip+expenses at the field+the ride back...
its a little more than 13 hours to OK i should know i do a bit of traveling. now thats not to say im never going. its just gonna be a long time before i go
Awesome to hear it, I was in the 1st last year, your going to have a blast, check my profile for videos of the action first hand right on the beaches.
hey do u guys have a web site bc i would like to join ur guys is unit im going to d-day this year and i need prety much all the info u can give me on it and ur unit thanks man
Sad to hear it, your ingame footage was really nice. I'll be sure to come see your wetworkz course this year. Thanks, your welcome to the 4th ID camp anytime. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the feild and heres to a great game come in a few months.
Yes, of course, newbies to MIL-SIM pros, even speedballers. All we ask is that you come prepared to play hard, cause this is not your typical romp in the woods, not with 1,800+
Germans wanting to keep you from completing your mission.
We'd be happy to have anyone willing to accept the challange that presents itself. D-Day is more so of endurance and beating the very challanging terrain, let alone the 1,800+ Germans ready to take you on. I'd be happy to help you guys out.
We had some guys who've never played before and D-Day being their first game, now thier heavily invloved with the sport. So if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help you guys and so would any one in the 4th Infantry.
Wow this video is bad ass. I hope this year i will be able to go to d-day cause it would be orgasmic

Illinois, it's somewhat of a haul because I'm practically right next to Wisconsin. It's all worth it though.
