  • This beat is infamous.

  • This my shit

  • krs one enough said

  • "Down with the sound called B.D.P.

If you want to join the crew well you must see me

Ya can't sound like Shan or the one Marley"

  • Damn they put this beat together in one day ....

  • im 17, and i hate having to argue with my classmates everyday about the greatest hip hop group of all time.

  • Great track..

One of my alltime favourite hiphop albums..

I play this stuff for over 20 years now and it still sounds fresh!

  • Brown Sugar led me to this. I'm gonna be honest. Its hot though.

  • @alanadavis32 Same.

  • @alanadavis32 me too

  • Hip-Hop, period. For true supporters, check out my channel and help us promote this movement, enough skinny jeans shit. Respect.

  • I'm sure this song would have a lot more meaning...if I could understand it.

  • @YawnGod Listen more carefully then.

  • 8 niggas from Queens

  • I didnt know that was KRS ONE playing the piano in this song...that nigga dope & I admire him from sampling this beat from that jamaican dude and being a jamaican sounding rapper. His whole style was dope.

  • the war is over the war is over.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lilzander84 He's talking about the war against Queens and Bronx about who made hip hop. Fool.

  • @TheHazardLife nigga i said that because the iraq war is over. Damn

  • la vieja escuela

  • 5 people must b from queens

  • @Gee204 I'm from Queens, and I like this song. Your point my mans?

  • 5 niggas sound like shan or the boy marley

  • de la boucherie, trop bon a réécouter, boooooum

  • @queenmother123 That is a great episode too

  • DE DE DE DA DE DE DE DE DE DA DE DAY!

  • I actually felt sorry for MC Shan and Marley Mal after this.

  • yeaaaaahhhhh

  • the bridge is over buda-bye-bye !

  • @DJSmiLEy2013 Dude you are an idiot who obviously doesn't understand written sarcasm. Learn how to read what was written

  • classico

  • i wasn't even born in 80'-90's, but i knew this song was one of the best tracks in Criminal Minded, which was one of the best hip hop album.

  • This is the time when you had to be a real MC.

  • Solid gold classic

  • i love this song i like how he kinda uses a lil of the beat from billy joel's 1980 song "its still rock and roll to me" specially at the end i wouldn't have noticed if i didn't listen to oldie music when growing up its wicked <3

  • True but all that extra sells to people that just like to here but for people who listen this will do fo sho

  • This is a perfect example of the fact that LESS is MORE !!!!!!!

The beat is simple. There isnt a lot of clutter or noise or fill in the background.

Even a 5 year old can sit down at your grandmothers piano and eventually pick up the rather simple piano part.

Those of us who were around when this was new probably knew way back then that this album would become a timeless classic.

  • @BIGnCHOCOLATE X2...yup , we knew then !

  • Krs-one is best lyrical rapper ever and nobody present rapper cannot challeng him!!!)))

  • This is classic hip-hop. They just don't make rap like this anymore.....sad!

  • @rebornnemesis27 Already, damn i miss true hip hop too...

  • if you like this you should like Slick Rick, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B. & Rakim. You don't have to be black to like old rap that smokes new rap outta the water.

  • is there a response from queensbridge?? or anysongs dissing the bronx
