Yes, critics, people want to get high. But most people who smoke pot also know that it is one of the worlds most useful plants. Use it as fuel... want to supplement the oil crisis? Use it as paper... want to decrease deforestation? Use it as cloth... want to provide cheap/sturdy clothes to those who need it? Decrease violence, dept, disease, etc. The list can go on and on, but most of the population that does not smoke marijuana needs to realize that it is a far greater issue than they think.

Industrial HEMP could turn the economy around by creating jobs and processing plants for fiber, fuel, food, medicine, plastic, paper, building materials and thousands of other products. This one Plant, can not only save lives from several forms of Cancer, stop Alzheimer's in it's tracks, be beneficial to Aspergers Patients, be made into various forms of plastics, used in Automotive Manufacturing, and other items, provide Food, Clothing, Rope, and as important as it's medical uses, FUEL, and is SUSTAINABLE. Many people also use it to cook..or some people may even recommend vaporizers to make it even less of a "Harmful Substance" than it already is...apparently that seems to do the trick. Yes, critics, people want to get high. But most people who smoke pot also know that it is one of the worlds most useful plants. Use it as fuel... want to supplement the oil crisis? Use it as paper... want to decrease deforestation? Use it as cloth... want to provide cheap/sturdy clothes to those who need it? our country is in debt and there is a revenue of billions to be taken from drug lords and put to use where its really needed but yet we dont legalize marijuana because its so "bad" for you. so is alcohol and cigarettes but yet their legal and you can die from them. Legal growing of marijuana could rekindle the agricultural sector and increase food in the market. If hemp farmers grew marijuana, and grew foods to put nutrients back into the soil, we would have a sudden increase of food on shelves, lowering the price of food.

That site was a hoax. the typical "i'll listen to you! vote for me!" and nothing, no change, none for the better at least. The DEA was not making enough money in the 1930's off of things like cocaine so they outlawed weed making it illegal and ruining the lives of hundreds of thousands since then. It's harmless and it's America's number one cash crop, yet our government is too stuck inside of the box to try anything new even when this country is failing miserably.

Many people also use it to cook..or some people may even recommend vaporizers to make it even less of a "Harmful Substance" than it already is...apparently that seems to do the trick. I don't smoke at all myself of coarse, although in my opinion i think it would make a fantastic substitute for tobacco..weed never did anything to harm a damn soul..the only times it ever did is when people are being thrown in jail and taken away from their families and such..legalize and there won't be any of that

Marijuana isn't a drug it is simply a plant and nothing more. It's not a harmful substance unless you make it a harmful substance. If anybody wants to argue about that than they can try and argue with God himself. Pot NEVER killed anybody. As of many other things out there in this world yes okay it may be bad for you but you never hear about anybody dying from it. Look at tobacco. It has killed and is still killing people all over the world today. But that's perfectly legal.
