uryo's choices as a sakura player confuse me so much as a fellow sakura user... he never goes for the resets after EX tatsus, goes for a meaty hadouken in the corner rather than for a crossup/continued block string, always uses U1, and opts for a DP instead of EX tatsus when he gets crouching short every time.

then again he's godlike and my sakura is garbage

@shiken It all boils down to your personal style really. The thing about Sakura's reset is that is not safe IMO. It puts you in a 50/50 after the resets. Ex tatsus/DP is subjective as everyone has a gameplan. Meaty Hadouken for chip/mind games and keeps oppnt in the corner. If you cross up when oppnt in corner, you end up in the corner when oppnt blocks. U2 does way too little dmg to be effective IMO. Gd only for ppl that likes to do crossups on you. I.E Grief, Viper.

@wilsonkun I agree with that. Her reset is a high risk maneuver. Depending on the skill level of who you're playing with, there really is a 50% chance of eating something horrific by going for it, but like a lot of things I find it useful for scaring people into doing something that you're going to block and punish. Her ultra two is super shit. I choose it because I like how it looks but the damage is like maybe 15% hp while other characters can drain over half your hp!

@shiken Reset wise, against more experienced people they're going to be accostomed to the sakura tatsu mixup as everyone's seen it by now. there are a few tricks you can use that most sakura's keep in the bag. But i'd say Uryo plays more for position than 50/50's. With the dp's i suppose he can keep the pressure going and save meter for FADC'ing cuz sakura's wakeup options suck

@messatsu1981 You know that mashing with ryu or ken will stop working at a certain lvl. If you play online ranked matches, when you pass the 4000Bp or so, Ryu and Ken will become a lot more rare (especially Ken) cuz (almost) EVERYBODY at that lvl has tactics against them. And the Ryu's and Ken at that lvl are MUCH better, I actually enjoy some Ryu battles now, cuz their more tactically aware. Still dont like Kara-Throw-Ken but at least they know what they're doing :3

@trunksbrief1 It really depends on wich char you're using. If you're playing a char with a strong knockdown-mix up game you'll have less trouble beating them cuz you need 1 knockdown 2 beat them or at least deal heavy damage (like elf). But a char that revolves around mindgames will have a harder time beating noobs cuz they dont think so you wont have any mindgames 2 take advantage off (like makoto or abel). Luckily I play Viper so I need 1 knockdown 2 woop noob ass :3

@blackman6270 i main sakura so mix ups dont work when noobs mash DP.. so if im going for the cross under after EX shinpukya the auto correct DP will get me.. so i tend to just wait for it and block.. that seems to work lol

@Nekros4442 Even though this comment is a year old I felt compelled to reply. I think Uryo's Sakura is a lot better than his C. Viper. His Viper seems like any other Viper to me. But I have never seen anyone player Sakura as effectively as Uryo. His Sakura is scary. I have never seen anyone beat his Sakura. So I would reverse that comment. "Uryo has one of the best C. VIpers and THE BEST Sakura." That's just my opinion though and I don't confess to be a pro at Street Fighter.
