these are not hmong communist people ok. during the vietnam war, these people live way up on the mountains. they had little contact with westerners or vietnamese. those who lived in low lands were forced to participated with Ho Chi Ming.
if you're gonna fuck someone, then go fuck your own vietnamese people. the vietnamese were the ones who drove vietnam into war and torn up the country into two.
Whenever I watching these clip, it makes me in tears... because I love Hmong people not matter what they are the poorest group in the world. Love and love you Hmong....Hope to see all of your in real life....
The Hmong of vietnam are the poorest. I have a feeling the comunist government of Vietnam have no intention to improved their lives any time soon. Too many red tape for over sea Hmong to lend a hand.

look like Chinese to me since Chinese people always eat pork. pork fried rice, pork chow mien, pork chop sui, pork dumpling, pork lapchuong, pork babies, pork mandarin soup, pork Chinese pickles.
Those Hmong people in China and in Norther Vietnam are practicing ball tossing like Hmong in Laos. Because they still throwing the balls up side down, not flat up throwing. There was a Hmong guy visited Hmong people in China and Hmong people in North Vietnam couple times, so he may thought them how to play the ball tossing in the New Year. Using ball tossing girls and boys can talk or find the girl friends and boy friend easier than just come to sit or stand in groups in the field.
ball tossing aren't really the real hmong tradition. hmong chinese still do ancient tradition to keep the hmong people alive. i think it's better if they don't do the ball tossing cause it's just made up when our ancestors left china.
hope they do. After the war, our people were killed and mis-treated. If the Viet-gov loves all minorites, why don't they do something about it. Proud that Viet-gov do care.
hey, yo don't be so sad. It life, they feel proud of how they live, don't compared your life in the Western American world with the Eastern Asia. They sure have their reason to say about you western hmong people life ...i bet...for sure...haaha
yeah. over there...who needs to go to work to earn money. as long as you survive and live peacefully without paying bills hahahahahaha. i hate life in america and i was born there. you can't even go hunter for free because white people always kill people on accidents
Sorry one more last post. Yes Mong and Hmong are the same, just two different dialects of the Hmong language. The H is a nasal tone so you don't pronounce it. In Mong this dialect doesn't have a nasal tone to it. The Chinese call Hmong, Miao. So you will see Hmong/Mong/Miao same group of poeples. Anyways, hope this answers some questions.
Even though our history is tainted, its the 21st century we can't linger on these bad things. But yes, we have to remember your history. Its the only way we can grow and learn as a people. Anyways, Hmong people here in the States aren't even that "united". We can only adapt and live like the people around us, which means yes we are losing our identity and culture. Its only the ones left in poor nations that still live the traditional way.
Okay People Get your facts right. Yes, Hmong people are from China and when then left they broke up three ways into Vietnam, Laos, and the boarder of Burma and Thailand. Yes, Hmong poeple have turned on each other, funny how history repeats itself.
Yes, these are the Hmong who emigrated from China. Remember, when exodus from china, the single group spread into 3 directions: LAOS, THAILAND, VIET. Yes, these are the ones fighting against VP and was under the command of General Nyguen Giap--Diem Bien Phu. There's top Hmong official in the Viet military and political but very few--and those may choose turned into a VIet. So sad so little progress because of discrimination...as usual.
Just wondering where do you have proof that these are the ones fighting against VP? Were you there and witnessed? How can you be 100% they are those you claimed? I wouldn't mind to see or read the articles with proof. Just that there are millions Hmong in Vietnam, we can't be sure which group is which.
i know an old southViet man that during the war was captuered and sent north for re-education. he was under hmong supervision and says that in earlier combat missions he thought they were chinese but after he got caught, he learned that the north vietnamese army had a lot of hmong people as soldiers.
this is the 21st century, i'm surprise they still do things by hands and dress in their traditional clothes...n also y they live in vietnam like its their land?
they didn't look any different than vietnamese, but just because they were born in a different place with different thinking... i bet the vietnamese communist doesn't treat them with much respect. They have my sympathy.
Interesting they have a lot more different types of Hmong people than the Hmong of Laos. Interesting how Hmong people do really dress similar wherever they are. Yes many still live in poverty in many SE Asian countries. Its only here in the Americas, Europe, and Australia that we actually get a chance at changing our stars. Its just harder for Hmong people else where to break out of the cycle.
Many of our Hmong here in the West become teachers, doctors, engineers, computer scientists, professors, lawyers, etc. within 1-2 generations because Freance, Canada, America, etc. already have the wherewithal to accommodate our personal drive/will-power. Most of the Hmong in the old world do their very best, turning the soil of the few square-feet they have. Even in big[ger] cities, they still don't have the opportunities we have here in the West...

those villagers may have hard time to move to
the places that have lands, so they have to
transplant soil into the cliff rooms, they can
grow corn instead of rice. This is tough jobs!
But they love what they doing and proud for what
they doing. The temperature seems so cool!
