the only things i can see is that the stomach area doesn't really have all that much of shape and the mouth looks a bit to long but hey it's better than anything I could possibly muster up. Keep up the awesome work!

@DuvArts It's "concept art" for film, television/video, graphic novel, etc. It's not meant to be highly detailed or extremely accurate--it's usually pretty rough / grungy in appearance...

I'm srry but the niteowl in the movie is a total ripoff of batman. Actually even in the comic niteowl is a total ripoff of batman anyway.

1. bat & owl bothe flying nocturnal animals.

2. Bruce Wayne and the Other guy both rich, smart, people with expensive estates that have an abandoned underground space for them.

3.Batmobile=Archie

just keep looking at the similarities. It's impossible for Niteowl to be an origional charachter.

His 'friends' were very rich

He lived in a small row house over a subway line.

And he wasn't in fantastic shape either.

Nightowl is probably a reference to batman-

A sarcastic commentary on the idea of batman.

A lot of Watchmen characters were references of 'existing' comic super heroes.

@Fionitesky Fun fact: Much like Nite Owl, all of the Watchmen characters were based off of one Charlton Comics (now DC Comics) characters. Nite Owl was based off of the Blue Beetle II (Ted Kord). Rorschach was based off The Question, and Dr. Manhattan was based off of Captain Atom. I can't remember the remaining characters' concepts and references. ^^;

Night Owl does not have an expensive estate it's an average house with abundant space underground yes..... The batmobile and Archie are two completely different modes of transportation the batmobile is a car.... Archie isn't, it's not even like the batplane which would be a closer comparison. And in Batman..well at least the movies Bruce Wayne doesn't develop his own weapons like the newer Niteowl did. His father left him money and Niteowl was well off but not a millionaire like Bruce Wayne...

I think he starts a new layer, switches the blending mode to color overlay, then colors from there, that keeps the lineart there and makes it so you can color pretty effectively. I'm not positive that's how idrawgirls goes about it, but that's usually my process.

he created new layer and set it to Overlay layer. So he could easly put some colors without crashing values that was in layer below
