i think that both waves look pretty similar. i surf seaside in san diego a lot and you can tell its here because it mushes out a little and then goes into a fast shorebreak
Seaside, OR, is really nice. The town feels like an old surfing film town. This place is called the cove. It's connected to the main beach at Broadway (Main Street) and is also good for skimboarding. It is best to surf their during the winter with a wet-suit or at the beginning of july, when it is hot but you still have some good waves. Seaside is a 2 hour drive from Portland, OR. Go Seaside!
