  • the music is so bad lol

  • thats old lol

  • tom walkinshaw built the jags engines,

  • This is the same ferrari tiff tested on fith gear.f40npg..reg,i wonder who owns it?

  • @TheWeirdFish Don't forget those boutique European brands that build their own stuff, some of those are insane.

  • looks like the successor to the countach

  • must suck to have to shift with your left hand

  • @PumpingSmashkins Most people in Britain manage it just fine. Maybe we're just better? :p

  • what the name of the song at 4:32?

  • Comment removed

  • @REI02021809 Roxy Music - Let's Stick Together

  • i already have my duramax for towing. now just need a 365 daytona and a 427/435 vette. i would be a slap happy dude.

  • Whats the song or music playing when the F50 comes along? It starts at 1:13, waiting since Clarkson's first video when it was introduced with the 355.

  • A big problem with todays cars is safety. Pedestrians have to live through a 30 mph front end hit with a car, a Lamborghini countach would have cut them in half. Also im pretty sure cars have to have some forum of tcs to be sold in America (and maybe around the world not sure). There are just so many regulations to make these and all cars safer it takes the driver out of the car, the most unsafe thing in a car and it softens the car up with more weight.

  • @lucasbmxMDK Definately not over here (England), that's why we have such awesomeness as Morgan, Radical, Noble, Lotus and Caterham. Safety is for those too stupid not to get hurt or hurt others. In my opinion, people that stupid don't deserve control over a motor vehicle, thus TCS, ABS, STM, are all irrelevant. As are silly squidgy bumpers that cuddle pedestrians. Haven't they ever heard of stop, look, listen, live?

  • @TheWierdFish I agree, but the pedestrian safety rule came from europe. But I agree with you about the stop look and listen. And safety is for those who have 5 kids in the back of the mini van going to soccer practice in a snow storm, or for someones mother to get to work in bad weather with out getting hurt. OR letting them stand on the brakes and no lock them up, most likely when a cute animal runs out in the road.

  • @lucasbmxMDK Further more look at formula from 1980s to now. Sure they have down force but what else do they have? (besides senna). I mean I know what you mean, yes its more pure driving with out electronic assist. Making cars safe is very important, those assist are great for a majority of the world. when you go to a race track, you sign a waiver saying its ok if you die, but on the highway; the women with 5 kids in the mini van, she never signed it so be safe.

  • @lucasbmxMDK Id like to see any one take a f 40 around a track and put it on the edge with out losing it into a wall at mach 12. With out serious training, no way. But, we could get a ferrari 458, drive it on the edge with all assist on it would be faster then the f40, you would be alive, and you wouldnt have a broken ass bone. But , your balls would be smaller. But seeing some one do that in a f40, like seeing senna drive in the rain, with no assist would blow the shit out of any one mind

  • @lucasbmxMDK F1 would be far more exciting if there was less downforce, the cars would be faster on the straights, and there'd be far more overtaking (if you're in someones slipstream, your downforce is reduced, meaning you can't match their pace through corners.) Back in the day, F1 was far more exciting, and, given modern build techiques, it could be perfectly safe too.

  • @lucasbmxMDK Not to mention, the most dangerous thing in a car is a bad driver. No regulation of the car can help with that. Only higher requirements for skills to get a driving license can help against that, but when they make the cars with more and more electric driverassistance gadgets, they only make more retarded people think they can drive...

  • @stiantiger thats exactly the point. They have increased safety in cars ten fold in the last 5 years. But cars also have gotten way more heavy, hurting the fuel milage. But I guess being able to change your facebook status, look for restaurants, and find directions in a car is great. Maybe it will wash your dirty clothes and iron them. Drivers need to be more aware that its not an appliance, its a bullet that weights 3 thousand pounds going 80 mph.

  • Does anybody knows whats the song at 7:32 when the red dragons are being introduced ?????

  • Whats the song at 7.40

  • I love how comfortable Jeremy looks while driving it

  • When I watch this video, I can't stop my tears to fall down all over my face: How for God sake did humanity went from great, great supercars, like the EB110, Diablo SE, F50, F40, XJ220 to supercars like the Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari California, or all the other and soulless crap we have today... REALLY sad!!

  • @RamboLambo002 The Gallardo is actually a nice little car, the Balboni is a proper fear-inspiring Lambo. The new Aventador however... Oh dear, bring back the Murcielago please! Now that Lamborghini's been properly Audified, only Koeniggsegg, Noble and Lotus make proper piss-yourself supercars. It is indeed sad.

  • @RamboLambo002 Faggot

  • @GabbaLads Poor idiot.. is that what they teach you in school now... poor guy... go suck your mommy's nipples, maybe she still have some milk left for you, so you may grow up a bit...

  • @RamboLambo002 Im not the one crying over some cars gimp

  • @GabbaLads As I said go suck your mommy's nipples... you might grow up a bit...

  • @RamboLambo002 Well your comparison is a bit off...if you want to compare the old best of the best, you have to compare to today's/recent best of the best..cars like the Enzo, Reventon, Carrera GT, Ferrari 458, Veyron, Koenigsegg R, Pagani, Audi R8 V10, Aston Martin -One-77, McLaren MP4-12C, etc. The only difference is that the supercars of today are also GOOD cars which are well sorted enough to drive every day. Supercars used to be amazing looking but fell off in almost all other aspects.

  • @RamboLambo002 yeah but we have the likes of Zonda and Koenigsegg now, equally outrageous

  • 7:25 ... Dear Santa...

  • Watching this till Top Gear starts on the Telly in 15 minutes!

  • Vote Ron Paul 2012

  • @glajl Mitt Romney FTW!

  • @BackRowRacing98 quit being a puppet of the media

  • I wouldn''t mind to drive a car with doors made of carbon and nog fake leather of some sort of cheap plastic

  • 0:40 What noise Clarkson??

  • yea it only does 208 mph.......sucks...

    lol wow

  • @snoopaloop007 I would like to see and F40 with modern turbochargers on it. Like a pair of GT35Rs

  • Sometimes I wonder how much CGI the producers have to use, to hide the fact that mostly, Clarkson sits behind the wheel, or the microphone, just wanking furiously to the sound of his own voice. Twat.

  • @ThrottleStuckOpen assuming you don't know what CGI is.

  • ugliest soundtrack ... stupid driver whit stupid hair ...

  • so pretty much what he means at 0;50 is ricer

  • what does he say at 6:25, two turbochargers the size of ...?

  • @damaatzeee barn doors I believe

  • @rusher38 thanks

  • @damaatzeee He says it's the size of barn doors.

  • Why is this vid outrageous? it ended exactly as it should have, with Ferrari being the best.

  • link to the japanese man taking the f40 200mph in public roads?

  • F40:The most sexy car ever made! Imagine this car with fitted with the new kind of turbos with variable exhaust geometry and maybe even tuned to use bioethanol!! It would kick everythings ass even today!! =)

  • @stiantiger Personally, I think F40s are perfect as they are. 201 MPH is plenty fast enough.

  • @TheWierdFish would not be anything wrong in reducing that turbolag thoug,it would really fly then=)

  • @stiantiger Having driven one, the lag is half the fun. Just trying to keep it on boost as you fly down a country road is a game in itself. Not to mention the kick as you floor it then the turbos suddenly spool up and poof, you're braking for the next corner again. On a track, where it matters, you can easily keep it on boost.

  • @TheWierdFish I guess, but still I think the car could be more awesome if the power were present further down the range of rpm. =) Would be awesome to se a video of someone testing that out some time. =) PS: You lucky bastard having driven the beast! Bet it's kind of a hangover to go back to a regular car after that? =)

  • F40, XJ220, E type, D type, 037, t35. Seems a long time ago I made that list. Oh well, two down, four still to own.

  • @TheWierdFish Which two?

  • @ccx806 E type (3.8 litre series 1 coupe, lightly uprated) and D type (Replica, on modern suspension and tyres (a bit wider than original), but otherwise as the originals were, even the cockpit and gauges. Technically it's two and most of two more to go. I have bits of an 037 and some chunks of a T35.

  • F40! That video was awesome haha.

  • Comment removed

  • F40 & F50 !!!! ....and of course the ENZO !!!

  • watch my vids

  • Wasn't the turbos of the F40 rather small? I think they were.

  • @SpeedFreakNO Nah dude they're huge! F40s have an insane power:capacity ratio, that's mostly turbo.

  • @TheWierdFish I love the car, but saw a picture of the turbos, on the engine still, and they were small :P I tried finding a picture of it with Google, but no luck.

  • @TheWierdFish The physical size is about average, the engine being bigger in comparison than your average car, but the power boost is huge. 480hp from 3litres? In car that weighs less than a hatchback. And yet it's as reliable as any other comparable Italian car.

  • Dear Santa...aw well he's not gonna bother giving me an F40 now is he

  • and now they crash them in Japan..1-2-3

  • old school top gear

  • that jag was ridics

  • The paint used to chip on my F40.

    It was die-cast.

  • 0:41 JIZZ

  • OH NOOOOOOOO! All those great cars completely ruined by right hand drive!!!!!!

  • @bLauAuFmBaU What? RHD is the proper way, leave your right (usually the strongest) on the wheel and let the weaker hand do the shifting and messing with the radio. Plus with LHD you have to pull right out to see to overtake pathetic slow drivers.

  • How tall is Jeremy? He does not fit well in all cars

  • @josemanuel599 6' 4"

  • @GrahamMonette 6' 4" is proper, cars do not fit around him! (Or me)

  • FERRARI F40 RULES!

  • So with all his newly acquired wealth from the new Top Gear, he's bought himself... a haircut?

  • @m0wfo And an English Electric Lightning fighter jet.

  • i hate when jeremy blame about turbo lag, he got a wrong gear:D

  • @Tomps55 you cant just say that. some cars have more turbo lag than others. he said it wasnt a success (the car) and i bet one of the main reasons would be turbo lag....this guy drove every dream car....you think he doesnt know how to minimize turbo lag?

  • @Tomps55 Unless you take it right up to the redline for every shift, it's impossible to keep the Turbos at full boost. The lag is always there and can be annoying. Personally, in the F40, I like the lag. Foot hard down, Hmm yeah, speed. Then. OOOHHHHHH MMYYYY GGOOOOOOOOOODDDD!!! SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!! And brake.

  • woo... ferrari.... how exciting.... haha psh NOT

  • @ransferd A 355 or an F430 or even a 458 isn't so exiting. But an F40, that's special. The F40 was old Enzo Ferrari himself's last hurrah before he... well, y'know. Anyway, he poured his heart and soul into what, even now, is probably the best Ferrari of all time, ever. You may say 'So?' The fame and pedigree came from somewhere. Racing, Ferrari was always the one to beat. 250 TestaRossa, P4, etcetera. Have some respect for the mighty F.

  • @eric5335 I have my own holy trinity, A Jaaaag, a road and a shitload of petrol!

  • if you like f40s take a look at abandoned cars of dubia

  • is he to big or are those cars to small inside?

  • @CRUSIALP The cars are small, but he's also pretty tall. I think he's somewhere about 6'4"

  • o yeah the McLAREN F1 all the way

  • What about the Fiat Panda?

  • @Calum643 james may has one

  • @Calum643 it's in china .

  • @Calum643 What about Trabant?

  • Porsche 959 ^^ BEST CAR EVER

  • @Fissi7237 Yeah, until the ferrari ate it.

  • @Fissi7237 No. Good car, undoubtedly. Excellent electronics, definately. Electronics though, are not cars. Cars are. And a computer controlled car is never, in my experience, as good as the same car with no computers. So, the F40 and the 959 have always been pretty closely matched. The difference is, one was designed to go as fast as it could physically go, the other, as fast as it could virtually go. Without it's computers the 959 is merely a good car.

    Point made.

  • i like how they think 208 is nothing then they get to the jaguar and act like212 is insane

  • My friends were talking about what was the coolest car ever. One said the Lamborghini Murcielago

. Another said the Ferrari Enzo. I said pffft the F40 is the best ever. What's that they say. I replied

    A masterpiece on wheels.

  • F40 Just Legendary

  • hate the purple?? on the Lambo

  • He has a great job

  • diablo over the f40!!!

  • F40 over anything else EVER!!!

  • "if the world had any sense, it would look like this" ahh got to love jeremy clarkson

  • what's the tune at 7:22?

  • 208mph = pathetic

    217mph = pretty fast

    LOL wtf?

  • @Riles07 It's sarcasm dear.

  • @TheWierdFish Couldn't find my original comment you trolled so....happy new year, hope holidays are going well etc.

  • @Riles07 Me? Troll?!? Never! Well, maybe sometimes, but not here dude. Happy new year to yourself too, A sweet week off of booze and Jaaags (Not at the same time) is nearly over but cheers for askin'.

  • @TheWierdFish haha cheers man. Keep it classy.

  • i own all these cars...........in grand turismo 5 "wish i did in real life"

  • Huh? This old man have the ability to destroy other vehicles, why did not destroy these famous car? ?

  • Holy crap, Jeremy Clarkson's got the best job on earth. I mean, getting paid for driving a Lamborghini - sounds like a dream to me...

  • NFSII Flashback imminent

  • 208 mph.... pathetic

    totally Jeremy.

  • WTF is this the music? Is this the 90s or the 80s lol

  • @kanaric music is perfect ;)

  • oldtimers give it to Cuba

  • f40 is the peak

  • xj220 vs gtr

  • :36 Worst driving position EVER

  • @juicyappleish Maybe because the seat doesn't go as far back as he needs it to go. Remember Clarkson is like...gigantic.

  • gta vice city

  • what year is this?

  • @SnowThe The two thosand and eleventh year after the birth of a dude called Jesus who may or may not have been the son of a god of some kind.

  • 5:44 lol

  • all this video proves:

    the 90s were weird.

  • the F40 has been my dream car since i was six...

  • Hes driving an Inferno from GTA IV

  • @skeetskeetskeetnigga wrong the infernus in gta iv ia a pagini zonda

  • this isnt top gear

  • I don't hear it

  • clarkson leaves out things like auston martin is owned by ford ,,, jaguar is owned by daimler chrysler , ect ect ,,,, bwaaa ha ha ha

  • @lesterclaypool1 the xj220 was british designed and engineered by TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) which is Scottish and also responsible for building the Aston Martin Db7, amongst many other projects, Jaguar may be owned by ford but they are still designed and manufactured in England, ford just bought the name nothing has changed, Ford only own a stake in aston martin, it was bought by a consortium led by Prodrives David Richards (british), John sinders (American) and 2 kuwaiti investment companies

  • @puls4r1 you mean the car from over ten years ago ? well actually jaguar is owned by ta ta from india now ,,,, i dont believe the xj220 did so well in sales and only 281 were even made

  • @lesterclaypool1 ?! I didnt make any comment regarding the sales of the xj220, personally i dont rate it as a good car (only watched this video for the f40), so ford dont own either of them then! Jags are still built in england , under different ownership,

  • @puls4r1 oh yes the ferrari ,, they are owned by fiat i believe

  • @lesterclaypool1 Ferrari operate an autonomous business, Fiat is merely the parent company.

  • I just love F50

  • Anyone know what that song is at about 2:10 in the video?

  • the diablo sv is actually 4 wheel drive.

Most of the power is sent to the rear wheels, but when traction is needed some power is sent to the front. Was state of the art in the sv days

  • @RichyJam2011 if it was awd they would have said so

  • @RichyJam2011 like the 89 r32 gtr?

  • @RichyJam2011 No old Diablo's SV are only RWD, VT's are 4 wheel drive.

  • @RichyJam2011 It's not an SV anyway, it's an SE30.

  • Meh. I like Porsches more.

  • @SwaffyX no porsche can compete with F40...none...ever...

  • @PowerMirai85 I wasn't referring to which is better. I just prefer Porsche over Ferrari.

  • @PowerMirai85 What about the 959?
