I don't know why, in the remake, they didn't include the canon ending...I mean Jill, Barry, chris AND rebbeca are supposed to survive RE1 but they don't include a cutscene....

@MajorShepard I've seen the ending clip for the gamecube in vidoes and in some of them Barrys in the helicopter playing with his .44 colt annaconda and he looks over at Chris and Jill and smiles. Maby it was just focusing on Chris and Jill and Barry was on the other side.

@MajorShepard Even here in the bloody remake they never explained what happen to her during Jill's scenario as shes only in Chris's (Barry's also suffers this fate on Chris's scenario) in a attempt to keepp it pure the endings are the same as in the first one (Adding of course another way for Barry to die being Lisa) Canonwise they all escaped on the Helicopter with brad.

What I would like to understand is how are both Barry and Rebecca rescued? They werent in the same stories. They should redo the storyline making all 4 in one story. And you constantly switch between Chris and Jill. And hopefully a little barry gameplay? Because the only game we could play as barry sucked.

the weird thing is some of jill and chris story are combined like Jill help barry from Lisa Trevor and Rebecca was rescued by Chris from a hunter. From what i heard is that chris got knocked out first by the tyrant leaving Jill, Rebecca and Barry to fight until brad drop the rocket launcher and thats when chris woke up and grab it shooting the tyrant. Capcom was just encouraging people to play both so they either have barry on Jills and rebecca on chris.

Not in the game. If you can ever get ahold of a copy of Resident Evil Archives, by Capcom, the official version of events in REmake is that Chris and Jill split and get to do different events in the mansion on their own. Chris finds Rebecca, and Jill and Barry stay together except for when Wesker is manipulating him. At the end, all 4 meet up at the lab elveator and escape on the chopper. The story is split up into reports filed by Jill and Chris, it's an interesting read. :-)
