The HD twin is fifty or more years old! Building a American superbike using a Harley V-twin is like trying to make a really great chocolate shake when all you have to work with is premium milk and old dog shit. It just won't work, no matter how hard you blend it.
OH Yeah! I spooged.......American V-Twin sounds sooooo good. I love the ducati artistic look and sound but the Buells have it too at a much lower price.
how sporty are these? I am going to be buying a bike soon, I got a 150cc scoot now but I want a sport bike, These sounds wierd for the look but how do they handle? They sound like a v8 muscle sports car, Hard to describe.
AWESOME BUELL! I was looking at Firebolts for my next bike.
I wouldn't get a 1200cc racing bike for your first real bike, it'd be very dangerous in novice hands. You should be looking in the 500cc range. Such as Suzuki GS500/GS500F or Ninja 500R. Please don't buy a racing bike for your first bike... Even a Ninja 500R will beat a V8 Camaro at the drag strip.
All you do is rev it up, do you even know how to ride this bike? Post videos with actual riding, who gives a shit about reving it up and just staring at it. This motorcycle deserves to be ridden not looked at.
@xlcheese did you ever think that maybe the bike was warmed up before the video started so we didnt have to sit here and watch the bike warm for 5 minutes? just a thought...
I love the ride. The bike takes corners like no other bike I've ridden. I rode my buddies 08 R1 and he rode mine on a quick trip. I wanted mine back pretty quick.
@jagermeisteryeti I know this may seem insensitive, (to the 4 people in our great U.S. of A. that actually like riding/owning Buells) but Good Riddance!!! Adios to a brand that was NEVER able to compete with the Asian or Euro products, and hopefully this will clear the way for a REAL AMERICAN sportbike that we can all be proud of.

yo, It's not good to be throttle happy immediately after starting the bike. don't touch the throttle till it warms up a bit.

Yea.....um,ok? I don't know how to respond to that so yea.

Buells have a cold start enrichment. Gasing it on startup can foul plugs..
EFI not carbs
