  • im throwing money at the screen but nothings happening!

  • Love that 007 Aston Martin DB5!!!!

  • has the original patina of car used in 65 in the film. but center console and shift lever have different switch's in them now.

lever has small button and not large thumb button and console has toggle switch's for function;s instead of the slide control's like in the film.

but i can see the older patina on the seat's and interior,

leave it as is dont restore it.

  • hello....finn mcmissile.

  • DEAR SANTA...

  • OOOUUU... a GPS!

  • Aston martin best british car

  • This car would turn every head a Pebble Beach. It's the sexiest car in the world.

  • That is really a work of art. Even without the gimmicks.

  • is this what the car can really do omg its awesome

  • Is this car the ultimate in 'cool' or what? Got to be the most famous car in the world, possibly above the Batmobile and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang even.

  • @TheChuckk it better come with a license to kill... I know... bad pun but had to be said

  • Which DB5? About 5 were made for the film for different shots and the promotion of the film after. One had a large hydraulic box in the back making it difficult to drive, it was so heavy. It was for the tyre slasher that came out of the wheel hubs.

A Martin Baker ejection seat was fitted into one and it worked. The promotional cars did not have it, just the lid in the roof.

They is NO one James Bond car.

  • ill give you 160 million for it =[

  • @IPwn4You it was already sold for 2.5mil lol

  • My dream car.

    Yup, only in my dreams.

    :(

  • Seriously? Someone paid two and a half millon quid on this?

  • @TheRickynow SERIOUSLY This is worth 10 times more!!!! Luck guy

  • I'm always impressed my that car.

  • FMP 7B was the second car in "Goldfinger," the one WITHOUT the gadgets. Those came much later. You can recognize it in that movie because it didn't (and still doesn't) have the Lucas side flashers ahead of the front wing engine bay vents. Those were found on the real Bond car, BMT 216 A (chassis no. DP 216). It was originally painted "Dubonett Rosso" a metalic maroon and was in reality a DB4 Series 5 Vantage with the engine bored out to 3990 cc making it the prototype DB5. SORRY!

  • WOW! I would LOVE to have one of these. I mean look it HAS WEAPONS!

  • Just one question !

How much did it sell for?

  • @mrhomerbojangles 2.600.000 pounds

  • YEEEAH!

  • Man i wish i had this car!

  • I'LL TAKE ONE OF THESE, THE MUNSTERS COACH, DRAGULA, AND OF COURSE THE BATMOBILE (60'S VERSION), THAT'LL BE ALL...THANKS!

  • steering wheel on wrong side! should be left side drivers seat!

  • Dude you're wrong. This is a brittish car. The steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car.

  • Where is Sean Connery Today... Now? James... You out there? Bond, James Bond. Of coarse spoken in his elequent and most unmistakenable British accent! I can't determine whether i liked Connery more at 10 years old in Goldfinger or 55 in the Rock! You are the man, either movie! Bond, James Bond or Forget Maui! theme songs begin......... !!!

  • Sean Connery is still going. His looks havn't changed since 1989. Check out this video on Sean Connery. You will like it.

  • JB 007, God that car is SEXY!

  • lol

  • is the car fast?

  • @cprockz123 aston martin said ithe car would do a 150 mph but they were lying it would barely do a 140 tops

  • bet the car is more expensive than the movie :D

  • I would probably be too scared to own something so valuable

  • But will it blend ?

  • @myacclolable Nope, blending that ride is a sin.

  • Is there a possible way that this can do stunts like Bond?

  • Comment removed

  • can you drive it under the watter ?

  • @okavipra

    Wasn't it the Lotus Espirit?

(French)

  • 2.5million pounds?

  • Road & Track put out a special called Exotic Classics in 1986 that has "the James Bond" DB5 that has a completely different console.

The reg. number was BMT 216A, then later 6633PP.

It's hard to say exactly how much this sale car was involved with the actual movie, but I guess the owner didn't care.

  • I know for a fact that there were two cars used in Gold Finger and Thunderball. One is sold today (as of writing) and the other was stolen from a 'secure' lockup. Till this day no trace of the car has been found which leads me to believe that it was a professional hit

  • That switching liscense trick would sure come in handy. :)

  • @joshua626 Guy Hamilton the director came up with the idea for them because he was fed up with getting parking tickets at the time, and he dreamed of having them on his car!

  • Really love the video. It's refreshing seeing the gadgets close up out of the movie!

  • Three lots before Connery's Aston DB5 (Lot 197) is Roger Moore's Lamborghini Islero GTS (Lot 194) - not a Bond car but it starred in Moore's last movie before he took on the Bond role seven times. I suspect someone may buy both cars. There are videos of the Roger Moore car on YouTube (search "Roger Moore Islero")

  • I'm watching Goldfinger right now, at 1:33 the console has a completely different switches layout than the car in the movie, the machine guns are just straight piecesof pipes on that car while in the movie they looked more like real guns ,it looks like the ones who restored that car should watch the movie more often

  • Thanks for this.

  • wonder if the ejection seat works,,, would need it on those certain days the gf gets happy.

  • greatest bond car ?or the lotus comes to mind. i like the aston better

  • that bulletproof rear shield would make awesome air brake

  • amazing automobile

  • the radar / Sat Nav looks interesting.. but i can not get my mind around the fact that this car is gonna fetch 5 million.. for that kind of money all the gadgets better work..
