Zoomers Exhaust Install on Magnum SRT-8

It actually does sound pretty good, I was surprised. With a name as stupid as zoomers, I still would go with a different name brand. I love my Dynomax mufflers with BBK H.

@fosterbrotherlj It is all stainless and its a full catback system all the way up to the X-pipe, which you can also replace as an option if you want to.

I'm recently in a position to remove my Zoomers because of all of the RUST!!! They are about to fall off...Yes, Rust! Had them installed in 2005 on my Magnum. Company told me they can't do anything about it. I'M Pissed as hell. Spent a shitload on a system that I thought would last. I have pics to prove it. Hope yours last...

@DaddyProductions... Hey bud the car sounds awsome. I have a question i own a 2006 srt8 same as your just red. Two things how much is the the Exhaust and does it mess with your check engine light? I heard it tends to turn on when you install a custom.

Thanks, man! Zoomers don't come cheap...I paid $1200 + $150 install for mine, but I don't regret a penny! I have never had the check engine light come on since the install over a year ago (or ever.) I would recommend the system to anyone - but if you're not confident in your performance modding abilities (like me) then professional install is worth the extra scratch. I have Zoomers Exhaust on my 05 Magnum 5.7L and it is the best sounding exhaust for these type of vehicles. Very expensive at a grand but well worth it. You will get a million compliments on it like I do. It goes really well with CAI. It adds some horsepower too. You should get the diablo sport predator tuner to go with it so you can run performance 93 octance w/ CAI. This adds a decent amount of HP also. Free Mod: take out the box under the old air filter! This will bring up more air!

I actually do have a CAI and a Predator and you are right, it's a sick combo with the 93 oct CAI tune! Next step is an LSD so I can put some more HP to the wheels and stop fishtailing so much at takeoff.  Thanks for the tip on the air filter box!

i love the sound of the zoomers, but i am worried about cabin drone. what has been you experience?

The only thing that I would qualify as drone would be when I first start her up within the first 1/4 mi. I drive in the morning. There is more cabin vibration then but it dies away quickly. Once she warms up, all that is left is deep throaty hemi growl! I would recommend Zoomers to anyone!

Yeah, I have a K&N FIPK on there as well. I just got a Diablosport Predator a couple of weeks ago and am using the Performance 93 Octane Tune. It has turned it into a real beast! Even with ESP (traction control) on and I still swing the back end around on a hard start. It's a blast!

Maybe some time down the road. I looked at their site and it definitely looks interesting. Right now, I'm pretty satisfied with the performance of my setup. I'm also out of cash after the CAI, Zoomers and Diablo!

How much is the turbo for the 5.7 hemi? How much would installation probably cost?

not sure about installation cost, its up to the person you take it to, but i emailed the company and they said for the 5.7 Hemi you get the intercooler, pipes, 2 turbos, oil lines, and electrical tuner for $7500, im gonna buy it soon enough.

Man, that's going to take me about 4-5 years of savings at least. But that's ok, I know that modifying my car is going to be a life long process. Hopefully one day I'll land that big job and have more spending power.

yea well that system is pretty sweet i just installed the STS system on my 07 SRT8 Charger, waitin on the weather to clear up then i can get it fully dialed in, it's awesome power but it aint cheap.
