Let me get this straight. The banks were failing so they gave them money. Now that they are saving their money to have more of a reserve, they are angry at them for not lending money out. First off these jokers should be out of business. Second, those banks that are in business CAN hoard their money all they want. No one will obviously get loans. They will get them, and give business to other banks that choose not to. Why in the world is that a bad thing?

Sociology regards the main social problem being the social division, which people accept by thinking that tradition is natural. For me, the problem is not the slump in market economy, which is just a version of social division, and like all social divisions, it is accepted blindly and it means authoritarianism, poverty through personal gain, lack of freedom and security, suffering for the majority and strife. This is where a revolution is needed.

You know guys, communism is not that bad. You know what communism gave my mother? Free 3 room flat, worth ~140.000$ now. Back in a day government would build a block of houses, and give them to people, free of charge. Most of people just never saw communism in action, so you only know about it trough movies, cold war western propaganda and games.

Communism really IS that bad. It's flat-out oppression. So, your mother and her neighbours had flats... so what? They had to trade their basic freedoms to get that (freedom of speech, expression, enterprise, dissent etc). What about democracy? Do you want to live in a police state? Democracy sure isn't perfect, but it serves humanity a helluva lot better than communism could ever dream of.

Let me get this straight. The banks were failing so they gave them money. Now that they are saving their money to have more of a reserve, they are angry at them for not lending money out. First off these jokers should be out of business. Second, those banks that are in business CAN hoard their money all they want. No one will obviously get loans. They will get them, and give business to other banks that choose not to. Why in the world is that a bad thing?

Actually they were FORCED to be given money first off. Even if they didn't want it. Second you realize borrowed money should NEVER be money that you need. If it is, and you can't get by without borrowing money, something is seriously seriously wrong. Maybe the problem is the cheap credit. Everyone is a junkie.
