The UN doesn't have to power to intervene in a genocide, and even if it does it will take at least 6 months for a resolution to pass through the security council. Russia is too weak to do anything outside it's borders, and China would rather see the world burn. As for NATO, 50% of all NATO forces in any given conflict are AMERICANS. We poke our noses into other countries problems because no one else has to will to stop genocide and terrorism.

Dragon Age Origins game puts you into their own world, giving you choices on how you will like to end the game.. It has the main plot, but the side quests make the game more challenging.. Outstanding story and dialogues, and lovely ladies as well.. :) Leliana or Morrigan? Lol, it doesn't matter, as long as you are having fun.. I recommend this game to all Adventurous RPG players out there!! Dragon Age 2 heightens it even more! Try it!

I love how the brah sweeps that mofos legs out at 3:02 then stakes him with the sword. The battle cut scenes in this film are awesome IMO, helps to glue together the solid gameplay and captivating story.
dragon age sucks compared to the elder scrolls series. Not to mention with the firmware bug that bioware got when they installed their "patch" i, along with every other dragon age origins player cannot beat the game because it FREEZES everytime during the final battle. Oh, did i mention this has been going on for over a year now and they still haven't fixed it? Dragon age 2 is gonna be the same way now that they were bought out by EA, they only care about money.
Played this, then replayed Mass Effect some. No comparison ME is just so.... linear and the combat so uninteresting in comparison.-- Battle is friggin ridiculous, still can't beat it. The dragon part is incredibly easy (though long), just stand back, blast spells, and heal. When the other guys come out though I get killed really quickly and have yet to find a way to survive.
One of the best games of all-time, especially the story although I find the combat a downside especially on the xbox or ps3 personally I prefer FABLE 3.
@EastwoodPark I can understand not having Shale (doesn't have add-on) or Zevran (shown no mercy and killed)......but Wynne? You gotta have Wynne on your team. She's and integral part of the story. And the Stone Prisoner add-on is crucial for the optimal ending in Orzammar: Shale is fun!

I'm just cross that there's so flippin' much game to be had in this. So many different interactions, paths, and secrets to be had. It makes me feel like I'll never actually be able to do everything in this game.
@CodeSworn They're all basically the same. You can find all the secrets in one playthrough. All playstyles lead to basically the same ending with slightly changed details. Werewolves help or Elves help. Mages help or Templars help. Dwarves help or Golems help. Warden dies, everyone else lives. No one dies. Alistair is King. Anora is Queen. Alistair and Anora rule jointly. These are just little side details. The main story is always exactly the same: Archdemon dies. Blight over. Yay.
I love this game so much. Played through it 3 times and just recently bought awakening. Although it got pretty popular I always get the feeling it passed a bit under the radar. It was an instant classic for me anyway
I think i'm at the end now but i feel like i havn't done all the game has to offer. I can't remember how many hours the game has to offer but i'm no-where near that many, i've only killed one dragon aswell, the one guarding the ageless sword.

@Tauritado That's not Conner. That is the son of the man you get to play as in Dragon Age 3. He is second cousin to that man who shouts out "Kill those godless bastards!" near the end of the game whose cousin is that guy who asks the Maker to bless you shortly after.

I'm just cross that there's so flippin' much game to be had in this. So many different interactions, paths, and secrets to be had. It makes me feel like I'll never actually be able to do everything in this game.

I love this game so much. Played through it 3 times and just recently bought awakening. Although it got pretty popular I always get the feeling it passed a bit under the radar. It was an instant classic for me anyway

I think i'm at the end now but i feel like i havn't done all the game has to offer. I can't remember how many hours the game has to offer but i'm no-where near that many, i've only killed one dragon aswell, the one guarding the ageless sword.
