Well within the universe of Start Trek all species apart from us are supposed to speak another language then humans. And have their real-time universal translators to translate all the languages to each other, which from time to time is demonstrated throughout the series.
Funny, they both sound like Mr. Spock, =P
Weird though, when I saw it, it was subtitled!
