Stunningly atmpospheric, filmed from interesting angles and inspiring locations. The still foggy weather enhances it superbly. Many thanks for sharing this Austin.
Thanks very much David, I have filmed so often at the Lancs down the years that it is difficult to find a new viewpoint. The conditions did help the overall atmosphere.
I do agree with the comments above about the weather. I think it adds that touch of authenticity, particularly the opening shot with the WD on goods with the mill chimney in the background.
I can only agree with all the previous comments Austin, a beautifully atmospheric set of sequences that are enhanced by such weather conditions that us older lads remember so well from the good old days of steam...5*....Bob
Thank you, there were around seven or so runpasts and 'Gothenburg' whistling away on the way to Rawtenstall at about 7.50 so I reckon the caravanners were well and truly awake!!

Very true, although I would have liked a little more brightness you can only film in the available conditions

Thanks very much, whilst I would have liked a spot of sunshine, in the end, the conditions added to the atmosphere I think.

Just a exccellent video and well put together, and the fog just adds to the wonderfull world of steam.
We in Canada are very jealous of all your steam

Brilliant - sunshine would not have been "right" for a BR steam day! It was always grey! 5*

The "dub dee" freights looked and sounded great (bet she woke the caravanners up!) - superb filming, thanks for posting.
