Hell, if I could afford it, I would play WoW. I just finished my 3rd playthrough in Mass Effect 2 with a total playtime of over 120 hours.

@poliv67 You do realize that Xbox Live works on a peer to peer basis whilst Steam, bar the servers needed to host profile information, is all dedicated servers hosted by players right? The only reason Steam works is because people are willing to pay for their own servers, whilst XBL uses the costs to gain exclusive content and host more content [i.e Twitter and so forth]. The cost is justified, even if I'd wish they give us an option to lower it but loose these optional services.

@poliv67 You do realize that Xbox Live works on a peer to peer basis whilst Steam, bar the servers needed to host profile information, is all dedicated servers hosted by players right? The only reason Steam works is because people are willing to pay for their own servers, whilst XBL uses the costs to gain exclusive content and host more content [i.e Twitter and so forth]. The cost is justified, even if I'd wish they give us an option to lower it but loose these optional services.

@Originefx The only reason steam works is because its easy to use, its free all the way, theres lots of big sales wich people actually gives a fuck about(Unlike Xbox Live wich put stuff like avatars clothes on sale at 20%.) and its an overall better crafted service. And theres nothing that justifies the cost of Xbox Live, Microsoft is UBER-RICH!!!

@poliv67 They're a business; they don't run on a free business model; furthermore you're confusing Microsoft the company and Microsoft's games section. The games section being a very small part of Microsoft with its own budget and aims; it's also a section that doesn't earn substantial profit due to the high risk factor and costs within the games industry. Expecting companies to host all these features for free, at the quality they provide, is naive at best.

@poliv67 Steamworks and XBL are completely different in terms of the way data is stored the way matches are played and the features they provide...If you wish to continue to argue this I suggest for inform yourself before doing so and look up valid information regarding both services; you'll soon see why Valve are able to offer such a service for free whilst Microsoft are not. Furthermore Valve sell games online, they earn cut off every game sold, thus they earn income through your purchases.

The reason of why its a bad game can be explained trough a series of facts like: the developpement had gone wrong, there was a lack of funding or the pre-set release date was too limiting... @Radenovic nobody takes the Wii seriously as a gaming console, it's only successful because parents think "Oh you can play by moving these sticks, little johnny and little lucy will love this". If you're around 5-11 maybe wii is alright but eventually all the kiddie games get old and you wanna get serious.
