The thing I didn't particularly care for in the movie is how they made it obvious that Rorschach was the "End is Nigh" man. I mean, in the GN I was thoroughly shocked when I found that out(although reading it again, there's a panel pretty early on that reviles it... just gotta look close).

I think it might just be that you didn't know when you read it, and you knew when you saw it. As someone who saw the movie before reading the GN, I was not expecting him to be the guy with the sign. Whereas, in the book, I saw it all being set up.

i thought it was him quite early on i dunno why tho... i think it was the height :S and that he wdnt just be there, i thought it was pretty obvious that Veidt ( is that his name) was going to be the "villain" if you could call him that because he didnt do alot and again wdnt be there for no reason
