  • Wasn't there also a video of them pinning him between two trucks or something? Seems like I remember that as well.

  • dusty " make it good" classic.

  • Dude,I remember being welded in front of the TV set when wrestling was on back in these days,Dusty was King! Hes still my all time Favorite.

  • Look at the old school tv's ha ha ha. They look like the Value Village TV's

  • Dalmatian furniture!!!!! :-/

  • I miss the ORIGINAL horsemen. None of this FORTUNE or IMMORTAL bullshit now. The 80s had awesome wrestling stables.

  • 1:40 louie anderson?

  • hmmm...i'm not a cop, but isn't there a law against attacking a guy in a parking lot, tying him to a truck and beating him with a bat ? i guess in north carolina that's legal behavior...

  • @90038jhon Hmmm, it's wrestling!

  • Flair is useless

  • God I wish Crocket would have handled his monehy better, we'd still have a WRESTLING around instead of just sports entertainment.

  • WWF=Fake Wrestling

NWA=The Real Deal (nothing fake about it, brothah!!!)

  • @rudypoodoo NWA N WWF was fake sorry to break it to u

  • I certainly remember this video and both incidents involving both Tully Blanchard and Dusty Rhodes. WCW and the NWA were king of violent incidents and blood feuds. I sure wish they were still around and still had the caliber of wrestlers of that era. But, times changes I guess!

  • Ole Anderson was a bastard!

  • tony schivone looks like the guy on the pringles can

  • Right around the time of Magnum T.A.'s terrible and tragic accident

  • @SaleGuy Yes. As a matter of fact, Nikita Koloff turned face right after Magnum T.A.'s accident. And his partner Ivan Koloff would follow him later down the road when he and his then manager Paul Jones would fall out after Ivan lost a four-corners match with Ricky Morton of the Rock-n-Roll Express. This was an era of wrestling that will never be forgotten.

  • Man Ric looks hot! Woooo, look at him. :D

  • That's hard times right there...hard times.

  • Beat downs were great in the 80's.

  • Tully, you and JJ got what you deserved.

  • Ric's house looks a little like a television studio... I wonder if that was subliminal?

Best angle, when they cut the video before Dusty got his hand crushed but you still heard him screaming, I remember seeing this and thinking "OMG. I hope this is isn't real, they are killing him." Perfect.

  • I think Dusty was only second to The Rock in terms of getting his ass beat in his career.

  • @RSXemperor I respectfully disagree. No Champion took a beating like Shawn Michaels. Not even Lawler or Flair.

  • dusty messes up in this he says make it look good breaking character

  • @jobber25v I don't think he really broke character. i took it as, "you better make it good, because it's going to come back on you ten fold". Like, "if you knock me down, you better make sure I don't get back up because I'm coming for you"

  • they best dustys ass ,,,the first ever drive by lol georgia style!

  • I remember watching these clips on tbs at 6:05 here in Florida. They knew how to entertain and how to put on a good show. i seem to remember watching Superstar Billy Graham strapped in a desert somewhere for 40 day and nights lol

  • i used to love this. About a month before Starrcade Jim Crockett would announce some of the upcoming matches. I was mad young but i remember being glued to the TV to see what was the next match that was coming to Starcade!

  • I'd rather watch these old videos of the NWA,they are more better than what the WWE and TNA currently have to offer.

  • Watching the NWA at 3pm on Saturdays, compared to wwf superstars on 10am on Saturdays, was like comparing prime rib to lunchmeat. NWA ruled over wwf. I love that thru youtube and wwe videos more wrestling fans are starting to notice what we knew all along. Woooooo!

  • I know, I use to tell all my friends who were WWF fans what federation was #1! Some of them thought the NWA was a minor league......I was like pleasssse!

  • Ahhh. It seems like I hurt a hulkamaniancs feelings. Truth hurts don't it kid. NWA over wwf any day any time. Get outta here. Go watch hogan u loser.

  • I'd have to say that the WWF was better in terms of production value, but NWA wrestlers and matches out-performed them in ring activity, day in and day out.

  • @mrbobbyh boolshit

  • Flair was the KING OF COOL. I would love to believe that sometime in my lifetime there would be another wrestler like him but I seriously doubt it.

  • @MaZYooN88 never again will there be a Rick Flair

  • @praises9700 no, unfortunatly not, praises. I wish though that there would be.

  • wow when it was real ! :) or they made us believe really the good old days !

  • God those were the days! I remember wanting to be a Horseman. Still do. DX, The NWO, none of them can touch the original 4 Horsemen

  • The golden age of wrestling there. When I was growing up I lived for Saturday cartoons and Saturday NWA and Saturday World Wide Wrestling shows. NWA at 1 pm right after Saturday morning cartoons and World Wide Wrestling at 11:15pm right after the news with my dad (God rest his soul) watching with me. Those were the best days of my life and cherished memories forever.

  • Saturdays sure did rule back then. I loved Georgia Championship Wrestling from 6-8pm on TBS.

  • yeah. I remember playing outside and running in to watch it at 6pm on TBS. Then my friends and I would try every move we saw on each other. I actually broke my arm trying to do a flying elbow off our picnic table. HAHA

  • must be time zones because i always remembered watching all this on tbs on sat round 6 and 7 i think on sun. i remember my granny whne she wasnt raisin hell because the braves were on she was rasin hellon ric flair lol

  • yeah it was sat at 6:05pm to be exact. i grew up in ct and that is when it came on. i always ran in the house and jumped in front of the floor model tv to watch. much better than all the steroid actors in WWE nowadays.

  • dusty rhodes had the uglyest figure 4 leg lock in the history of pro rasslin!!!!

  • Love the NWA Pro music at the end!

  • I LOVED it when the Horsemen attacked Dusty.

  • JJ was a real manager!

  • When they beat up dusty, I was ready to run outside and help him! Never Mind I lived in Cincinnati!

  • DUSTY SUCKED

  • Talk about bad acting LOL!

  • "It was a dispicable act... let's take a look!"

  • I love it. I hate Dusty Rhodes

  • I used to always wonder why the cameraman never put down the camera to help out but only after the 'cold shower' known as adulthood beset upon me did I realize why.

I want it to be 1988 again!!!!

  • This shit used to terrify me as a kid. I used to say I hope the police get them 4 horsemen.

  • i remember seeing the 4 horseman attacking dusty in the parkinglot where they screwed up his hand, that had the same effect on me when i was a kid lol.

  • I was traumatized by this too. My brother had to calm me down. I hated the Horsemen after that.

  • I was the the same way. I thought I was the only one.

  • Hey, same here. I wish those days were back again. I wanted to be one of Ric's "Space Mountianetts" and of course apart of me still dose. Ahhh what if? hmmmmmmmm. ;)

  • I miss wrestling like this. Whatever happened to Jim Crockett? The First Blood Match was anything but an original idea by the WWE and this proves it.

  • What happened to carnage like that? I would like to do that to some people I know, lol....

  • LOL... You can hear Dusty say "Break it", and then you see him say "break it good" or "make it good".

God, these angles were good, and the crowds were absolutely HOT for them.

  • The glory days of wrestling. I loved the pro wrestling theme song at the end. Pretty funny when you could hear dusty at the end say "make it good!"

  • Does anyone have the music that was on the Starrcade '86 card on the end of this video?

  • This is a fucking angle

  • Say there Koufy, show DUSTY geting even with

them in a TagTeam Cage Match when NIKITA

KOLOFF at his side. After vince jr saw it,he

stolde this by making NIKALI VOLKOFF his good

    guy Russian.

  • actually Volkoff said i bad guy no more war is over, and jr. agreed

  • I heard that Jim Crockett will be on Monday Night Raw tonight!!!

  • Did he actually show? I know this was a year ago. I would have liked to see it.

  • Two thumbs up to this comment.

  • He hits him in the right leg then attacks the left leg.

  • horsemen 4 life

  • Hey rasabduk, if you dont know who the "guy in the suit" is, you have no business watching these great videos from the golden age of wrestling. Let alone posting about them.

  • Yeah, it's his fault he wasn't into wrestling and/or born back then.

  • All Im saying is if he is that into this particular video and the Horseman, he should know who the hell JJ Dillon is thats all. I wasnt alive in the 60's but I know shot JFK

  • the attack even in these kaybefabe free days i still find the scream disturing

  • you know, its funny that you don't think of these things as a kid, but wouldn't the cops have been called during the assault in the parking lot? Hahaha..

  • funny you should say that, when the Outsiders attacked Rey Mysterio and others in the parking lot on an epsiode of Nitro in '96, the cops were called by people who lived near the arena

  • Actually, it was mentioned on the Horsemen DVD that the cops WERE called.

  • my god that chairshot on the guy in the suit was without a doubt the fakest thing ive ever seen in wrestling today

  • Figure 4 leglock! Yes! Brutal!

  • why do you spam...wtf is the point of this shit?...why dont you just get a life...people who do this shit are fucking morons...and dont deserve life...fuck!

  • Did anyone notice that Dusty attacked Tully's right leg but in the clip Tully's left leg was in the cast?

  • tully cheats ad hits dusty with a roll of quarters.

  • fuck you you motherfucker

  • the voice over was really good

  • correct me if i'm wrong, but in kayfabe terms, if the first blood match is not sanctioned by Jim Crockett promotions or the NWA, then how can the TV championship be on the line?

  • I think because even though the match wasn't sanctioned by JCP or the NWA, it still involves an NWA championship. Don't quote me on that, but that's my theory.

  • does anyone have the video where the road warriors attack dusty w/ the spike from the shoulder pads?

  • Did anyone hear Dusty yell out "Make it good" just before he got hit with the bat? It was still cool.

  • i caught it.

  • The minute I heard Dusty say "Make it good" that ruined this clip for me! I taped this back in the day and noticed that blooper about the fourth time I viewed it with my buddies. Rhodes probably thought the sound wasn't being recorded because all the guys were cussing.

Still these were the glory days of wrestling.

  • LOL!!! Halle Berry in Monsters Ball - "Make me feel good!!!"

    LOL

  • This was great! Thanks for posting. Brings back memories of some good times kickin back on Saturday nights with a brew and watching NWA Rasslin.

  • Rasslin'?

  • Do you have a video of Dusty Rhodes as the Midnight Rider? I would love to see that again.

  • Do you also have the match between JYD and Ric Flair from WCW in 1990?

  • Please post video of the First Blood match.

  • do you mean an I quit match thats what N.W.A called it

  • Gotta Love it.. Saturdays night kick ass...

  • Dusty and The Four Horseman. The original hardcore, this the begining this was some great stuff.

  • That's some old school shit right there man! I don't think I recall anything before '89. And the Four Horseman look like those cheezy villains you see in those corny 80's "badguy vs. goodguy" TV shows. I half expected them to run outside and jump in a helecopter to make a get-away.

If you have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, forget it, lol. Good vid. Thanks for posting.

  • the hart foundation was wwf 1st answer to nwo..dont compare crap to platinum and diamonds jerk

  • I feel that nwa/wcw mid eighties were darker, violent and inspiration for ecw.

  • HAHA I rememeber the saturday I first saw this footage. I have it on VHS. Great stuff!

  • NWA ROCK ON!

  • this brings back so many memories. I actually remember this being aired.

  • The horsemen are the best group there ever was, is and ever will be....NWO, DX, Evolution, they are just a whole bunches of copy cats.

  • Purehorsemen stuff

  • do u have starcade 87, please say u do, that's the best wrestling tape ever created

  • Hootie-Hoo mankind2112,please copy your STARRCADE'86

video onto dvd & play all of it on TouTube for all of

the old school wrestling tradition fans & Thank You.

  • Hey,show the whole clip of Dusty hurting Tully's leg

Magnium is in the clip too helping Dusty. This happen

    beore STARRCADE'86 then the 4horsemen break Dusty's

hand. Then Nikita teams with Dusty in cage match v's

Ole & JJ Dillon. Play that video..

  • Usually, it was Dusty gettin' the crap kicked out of him. Seeing Dusty smack him (and JJ Dillon) with a chair and clamp the figure four on Tully is something else...and Dusty didn't blade himself!

  • Who ever is posting all of this vintage NWA stuff please continue. That bastard Vince McMahon won't release any of the good video. Man, those were early days of the Horseman - I have Starcade '86 somewhere on tape.

  • Great stuff, sure hope you post more woooo

If not for the Horsemen, theyr'd be no Nwo Dx ect

the Horsemen were the best the rest were just imitators!
