  • OMG a walking protoboard!!!

  • Wireless internet?:P

  • change the gear ratio ;)

  • @h3xyournightmare I'm not sure if the motors could handle that... :)

  • @BatistLeman if i'm right...your gearings are from a tank and has few gear ratios so you can try...you know no risk no fun :D and you should decrease the weight of the platform...if the breadboard wiring work's, move to the next step and build the motor controller on PCB, so you can make the whole platform lighter and faster :D sorry for my bad english, i'm from Romania ;) good luck

  • @h3xyournightmare thanks for the tips! your english is quite good btw. Hooray for Europeans! ;-) (I'm from Belgium)

  • @BatistLeman i also thank you, but i got to tell you something...i don't actually have an arduino...i'm planing to buy one next month if everything is ok, so every advice that i give to everyone, it's based just on theory :P you know how they say "Noone can take your right of dreaming" if you understand what i'm saying! ;) have a good time

  • @h3xyournightmare you idiot

  • @ChiIdKiIIer WTF is your problem, dude?!

  • @h3xyournightmare no risk no fun haha sorry bout that man, happy holidays

  • Nice job"

  • @TheBetterPeter thanks!

  • No, I didn't use any lego, you can read the details of this project here: coded [dot] be/en/node/39

  • did u used lego?

  • Yeah,just like mine.But your is awesome.

  • this is prettymuch what my first robot will look like when i get my arduino XD

well maybe more primitive than this. i cant wait :)

  • Feel free to post a link when you'r done!

  • well i dont have the arduino yet. i need to awit prolly a month till i can get it. then i gotta get working with it to make a program.

  • well i got my arduino. i havent made a robot yet, but if you want to see my projects goto my page

  • servos or normal DC motor with H-brigde?

  • these motors are indeed normal DC 's with a H-bridge, i put some more info on how to connect them on my website.

  • You can find my website on: coded[dot]be/en/MouseControlledArduinoRobot

  • Thank! Are you using a dual H-bridge?

  • Yes, this is one H-bridge for 2 motors: SN754410

    What are you making?

  • I was planning on making a simple robot that relys on sonar, or IR sensor to avoid objects.

  • yes indeed, I plan to add an ultrasonic range finder and an accelerometer.

And if possible I want to send the captured data to my computer via an RF-link.

  • Hey i would appreciate if you make me a little schematic of the circuit . i have dificulty to understand the chip + the wires connected to the arduino ! thank

  • haha i'm making progress I got an h-bridge working :D also where did you get the motors you used? they sound like they got some good torque

  • I've seen your video, great! :-D

I bought them at sparkfun. They have a category 'robotics', there you can search for the 'dual motor gearbox'.

Keep up the good work! :-)

  • @BatistLeman But Too Noisy is it possible with out noise

  • Nice platform to start experimenting from !

Do you plan on adding extra sensors ?
