  • Bitching Betty! You have at least one fan here!

  • You forget: RETARD RETARD :-)

  • Her Face ^^ hahahaha

  • Imagine, for many pilots this was the last voice they heard before they died. Creepy.

  • Press 7 repeatedly to hear the world's longest flare.

  • fake. the voice is digitized

  • Thanks for putting this on You tube.

    x

  • CRASHING YOUR PLANE WAS NEVER THIS MUCH FUN

  • You don't seem bitchy at all. Now I can put a face the nice lady that keeps me situationaly aware.

  • 717?? haha

    who did md80, 90´s?

  • @VIctuszaphae I don't know who did those. I was told that the voice was "not available" and that's why we re-recorded for the 717.

  • holy hell!! the real Bitchin B'

  • Do you know the lady who works at the DMV?

  • @akkalakakalakka Yeah, that one lady who says that thing...she's my neighbor:)

  • So that is where the voice comes from! I never knew...

  • Every time I disconnect the Autopilot of the MD11 in FSX I like to hear that Autopilot, Autopilot! Nice to see who the person behind that voice looks like. :)

  • I flew during 15 years all the MD80 series in the Aeromexico fleet. The female voice in the CAWS is very, very close, at this lady; but is not the same. The voice in the computer had more "electronic" sound. The voice was made for computers for a computer. The check pilots at Mc Donnell Douglas told us, the reason for a female voice was (after a deep study), everybody pay MORE attention a lady voice for a warning or emergency alarm; that is because since we are child a "female sound" take care

  • @AMXMD80 The woman that did the MD-80 call outs was "not available" when we recorded for the 717 - that's why I got the gig. The 717 recordings are in a different format (electronically) than the MD-80s. I heard the reason they use a female voice was because not many pilots are female so a female voice will be different and hence, paid attention to. I'm sure there are several reasons for it.

  • Wow, she is absolutely gorgeous! As just a beginning sport pilot, I was I could hear her in cockpit, a good way,!

  • Do you know the guy that does the altitude callouts for the boeing planes?

  • Comment removed

  • Doesn't really sound familiar...

  • who the voice for bitching bob? i've searched but google failed me.

  • awsomeeeee!

  • definitely the voice of caws on c-130amp. heard that voice almost every day for 5 years.

  • WE can hear them in cock ?

  • hey do you get many royalties? i suppose pull up pull up brings some cash in from Airbus doesnt it.

  • @MultiSurvivor93 Hum...I'm not sure why you think I am a computer. I realize that the aural warnings are monotone but I was told to be as monotone as possible because they want to keep the pilots calm in a stressful situation. I'm sorry you think I am a computer.

  • if it's the voice for the Boeing 717 it is the same for the MD-80, MD-90 and MD-11as they all have the same warning system

  • @thomsonfly645k You can think that if you would like. I was not even done with college when the MD-80's were being built. Also, I was there when MD-11 was built but we had not recorded the 717 voice yet. I was told that the voice of the MD-80 was not available so that's why they went with another voice for 717. After 717, the MD-10 people liked my voice and used it for MD-10. If my voice is on any other commercial aircraft I would need to hear it to believe it. I only recorded for 717/MD10.

  • @717voice fair enough it was only because they had the same warning sounds, the voices might well be slightly different on the different aircraft but sound similar

  • (sound of clacker)'overspeed'

(sound of horn) 'stall' you missed the two most important ones

  • @thomsonfly645k I do say those warnings I just didn't put them in the video...sorry about that. I also say "evacuate" and I hope you never hear that one!

  • @717voice had no idea the 717 had one of those warnings that's another reason i thought you did the MD-80 because i knew they had that warning sound

  • @717voice I am a pilot and i have heard that one before but that was an error on the plane

  • @jrpianosongs - No you're not, kid.

  • @aaron8862006 this account if a family you tube account, if you looked at the videos it my son.

  • @jrpianosongs - Well then, my apologies. Air carrier?

  • @aaron8862006 AA , 717

  • @jrpianosongs - American still flies the 717?

  • @aaron8862006 sorry i left out passed 717 pilot, now im in a 737

  • @jrpianosongs Right.

  • Bitchin' Betty. I will never understand if you recorded "landing gear", why it is not used in the 109 Power. You only get 200 feet, 100 feet ......... and this is the que to make sure gear is down or it will end badly ???

  • @tjtg I'm sorry but I don't know what the 109 Power is. I recorded "landing gear" and it's used in case the landing gear and the gear handle position does not match.

  • Its the MD-11 GPWS voice! Nice!

  • md 11 voice?

  • Are any of your recordings available for private use?

  • Landing gear required for pizzas?

  • Are you using the same during cooking?

  • Dear miss, you are AWESOME! Thanks for all the stuff you've done for Boeing :D

  • Watch her in action:

    watch?v=uXnEbx0LPK8

  • Every morning...morning...morning...

  • What does the airplane say when it knows everyone is fucked? Can you say that message? Thanks!

  • Awesome. :D

  • Superb!! I actually thought it was a computer generated voice till I saw your video. Isn't it amazing that you are at so many different places at the same time.

  • Ha! That is so awsome actually seeing a person's face to a voice :) Thanks for putting this up!

  • soooo can some one explained what i just watched?

im assuming that your the voice of the stuff in cockpits but i could be wrong

  • Ah so your the girl that keeps shouting: STABALIZER! all the time :3 I'd rather have that male french voice that calls me a retard, reminding of that computers are smarter ; )

  • YAHH IN MD11 ... SO YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AS WELL AS YOUR VOICE IN COCKPIT

  • Amazing! Actually MD80 CAWS seems to have your same voice (stabilizer, landing gear, etc)...Why you say that you're not in MD80's...?

I have to say that I hear you every time, my cell phone has "Fire Left Engine, Fire Right Engine" callout as a ringtone, and "autopilot" for sms... I just love your autopilot voice... is... sexy??? Yeah!

  • AIRSPEED,AIRSPEED ,PULL UP,PULL UP!!!!!.....HISSSSSS...... God save U from hearing those

  • Excuse me, but I don't think you're bitchin' at all!

  • OMG! ARE YOU FOR REAL :))))))))))

  • Did you do the airbus cockpit GPWS? If so you have insulted many people by calling them a "RETARD" while trying to land :)

  • @thestig747 I'm only on Boeing planes so I don't call anyone a RETARD:)

  • @thestig747 That Airbus lol Boeing don't have it.

  • how did she audition for that job? They asked, "how old are you?" ..she said "30"! then they asked..do you drink? ...she said.."minimum".

  • Are you married? I am thinking some very humorous 'warnings' in the bedroom ;)...overspeed....overspeed; pull up...whloop whloop....pull up....

  • @jschanna haha....yes, I am:)

  • press the num 8

  • that's totally BITCHIN'!

  • @hijuesesentamilputas Really? Why the disgusting comment? No one else is making such vulgar comments. I will remove your post.

  • So your bitchin' Betty?

  • @iamontrak Well, one of the many bitchin' betty's:)

  • Comment removed

  • the 25 thumbs-down voters are probably aerosoft lovers ;))

  • hahaha...nice=D

  • is this a voice of md-11 because i hear this on an md-11

  • @wab1201 I keep hearing that I'm on the MD-11 but I did not record for them. I only recorded for MD-10. Maybe they put my voice on the MD-11 later, without my knowledge?

  • Do you know the GPWS male who talks? And can you do 200 100 50 40 30 20 10?

  • @trechan No - I don't know any other cockpit voices. And, did you listen to the whole minute of video? I actually do say 100, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10. I just don't say "200".

  • @717voice ahh sorry my mistake. The video didn't load all the way and I was stupid and didn't see the whole video. Thanks for answering.

  • I wonder if she does that kind of thing when someone's driving her about.

    *speeding* *speeding*

    *warning, police trap*

    *downshift, downshift*

  • So your the voice that gets anouying when watching aircraft investigation.

  • @PyroLukeUk Yup...that's me:) Sorry it gets so annoying. That's what the mechanics would say too when building the aircraft.

  • @PyroLukeUk :)

  • Well I know who makes the MD-80 sounds now :D

  • Pretty woman...

(SHE LOVES ME. LOVES ME NOT. LOVES ME. LOVES ME NOT ;-)

  • Like. Pull up! Pull Up! Pull Up! Or ....STALL./...STALL

  • Don't think. Don't think. Don't think. Retard! Retard! XD

  • DOES NOT COMPUTE DOES NOT COMPUTE DOES NOT COMPUTE. Honestly, you're pretty awesome!

  • ...i wanna hear EJECT..EJECT..EJECT..

  • lets put this all together and get you guys some lverage have a few small interviews on you.

  • omg... when she makes love...

whoop whoop pull out, whoop whoop pull out; OVERSPEED OVERSPEED; approching orgasm, approaching orgasm, ORGASM

  • I Love Bitchin' Betty!!

  • There have been many Bitching Betty's. You should add your info to the Bitchin' Betty Wikipedia page.

  • @3Hwrecking Oh that's funny that there is a Bitchin' Betty page:) I'll think about adding my name to the list. Thanks for letting me know.

  • I THINK THE MD11´S GPWS SOUNDS LIKE ROSIE THE JETSON´S HOUSEHOLD :P

  • Reminds me of Star Wars KOTOR games. The "Bastilla" girl has a knock-out voice. Turns out she's sorta real, not just lifeless pixels. Can't remember name off hand, but it's easy to find in Google. She does LOTS of voice-overs, especially games which appeal to men, because her voice is so sexy. But they went even further. She is a beautiful woman also, so they made Bastilla LOOK like her, not just sound. Worked too .... millions of men are infatuated with a woman existing only in a game. :) :)

  • Cool. Lots of neat ways to make money in the world, some not as obvious as others. It'd be easy to think these voices are just computerized, and I'm sure SOME are. But some are the real deal, even if never really credited as such. I can relate to using voice as an occupation, as I'm a musician. I do more keyboards & sax than vocal, but can & do sing occasionally, on limited song styles. For this specific purpose, your voice works rather well, whereas mine would pretty much suck. :) :)

  • @offamychain Unfortunately, I didn't make money doing this. I worked for Boeing at the time and it was just part of my salary. I don't work for Boeing anymore and I have not pursued a career in voice-over work. Hum...maybe I should:)

  • she is the md11 gpws nice

  • Aw...you mean my monotone, boring voice isn't sexy? Bummer:(

  • But she doesn't speak in the F-18. F-18's CAWS is much smoother and sexy;)

  • were you in the md-11?

  • @volcomdude56 Not that I know of.....

  • Cool :-) sounds like MD 80 (stabilizer motion)

  • you look retarted

  • Comment removed

  • "PULL UP!!! PULL UP!!!"

  • is there any chance at all you can upload a video of you saying "SALAMI RULES" in robot voice? I'll make it worth your while

  • lol i like that i have recorded a few you will never hear

  • Nice to put a face with the voice :)

  • You are very scary! Post somthing nice like being on your holidays or something. You remind me of Kathy Bates in MISERY!

  • i see....

  • It's too cold voice! Cocpit female voice should be loving, affectionate, fond :]

  • She's also the voice of Boeing's C-17A aircraft. When she mentioned "more which I hope you'll never hear" I bet she is referring to the "missle launch". Not the best thing to hear in flight.

  • Always fun putting the face to the voice........Thankyou

  • Did you do the voice for the Nissan/Datsun VWS in the 280ZX?

  • @Jaket2000 Nope - just a few aircraft.

  • @717voice ok, just that the CAWS and the VWS just sound very allike. My dad who used to be a flight insturcter heard it and his face just went pale and I asked what was wrong? he replied "Betty."

  • @Jaket2000 Ah...that's funny!!! I can just imagine his face (and I don't even know him).

  • The cake is a lie!

  • I really want to hear you say

    "Fuuuul-aps."

  • You ARE very attractive! We're glad we can't see you, while up there, because that would be a very dangerous, but pleasant, distraction.

  • @jonesy97 Too funny:)!

  • NOT INTERESTING!

  • Well don't believe that you are the MD11 cockpit voice,

  • Lol, try arguing with her..!

  • @gitargud7 You won't win, you won't win, you won't win:)

  • "Take out the garbage. Take out the garbage. Take out the garbage."

  • If they chose my GF, you'd just end up ejecting...

  • "I've recorded many more that hopefully you will never hear"

    What's that supposed to mean?

Did you record things like "Pull up, pull up, pull up, YOU MOTHERFUCKER PULL UP, YOU'RE ABOUT TO CRASH YOU STUPID BITCH.

I always thought it was a synthetic voice generated by machines.

  • @corpralj3 Wow, such language. Not liking that.

  • @717voice I was just exaggerating. I couldn't think of any other reason why you might wish that there are many more we will hopefully never hear.

If you ask anyone who flies planes or flight simulators they may tell you that Bitchin Betty is annoying, but at the end of the day we all love Bitchin Betty. After all, she is only trying to keep us safe. It's nice knowing, she is a real person.

So if I can ask... what are some others that you have recorded, hoping we will never hear of?

  • @corpralj3 I was just referring to the aural warnings like "evacuate" "Fire Engine 1/2/3" "tailwind shear" "headwind shear" "cargo smoke" "stall" stuff like that. I don't think you want to be 30,000 feet and here "cargo smoke".

And believe me, I know that people can't stand bitchin betty but they love her too - it's a love/hate relationship:)

  • FUCK!! ITS REALLY HER!!! DAMMIT LOL! MD-11's voice! Omfg! Lol!!!!

  • I don't understand. Pretty much anyone can speak in a robotic voice, so how did you end up with this job? Second, why speak in a robotic voice anyway? Why not just speak normally? Do planes increase in value when voice warning systems sound like robots, thus earning the manufacturer more revenue?

  • @pearlmax I'm not a pilot and I'm not the one who "picked" me but this is what they told me: they want the voice monotone so there is no emotion in the audio alert - need to stay even keel; they didn't want any accents; they wanted a clear voice - something that they pilots will actually listen to; bottom line, they want the voice to stand out because when in an emergency it can be difficult to hear the warnings among all the other bells and tones being heard.

  • This is for real. I worked with Patricia at Boeing in the studio. We recorded her voice and had pilots evaluate it for integration into the aircraft..

  • It Makes sense that you would also be on the MD-11. I'm not a pilot but I am an audio engineer and if they dig your voice, migrating it over to a new box would be easy.. Nice job and how funny that you decided to do the video.. The mono tone thing makes sense too. There should be NO mistaking what/where the voice is about. As a PC flight sim hobby boy, I think I might here your voice also.. {people have lifted it for us here and there ;-}

Thanks for doing it.. It's funny stuff.

  • @songboy40 Thanks! I had just quit my job at Boeing and thought it would be fun to post "my voice".

  • im calling BS on this 1

  • @pigkiller7171 Why? Do you really think that I would make this up? Have you heard me in the cockpit? I guess if you knew me you would know I was telling the truth.

  • Now if only the Airbus "retard, retard" guy would show his face.

  • @cabdude2 He doesnt have one *_*

  • Do you do AA?

  • KILL HER KILL HER NOW PLEASE NOW!!!!!!!!!

  • @datafreak667 NO...PLEASE DON'T....NO!!!!!!

  • @717voice well the plane i flew had a malfunction so i heard this SO MUCH its REALLY annoying

  • @datafreak667 Unfortunately, I think a lot of people want to "kill the voice". I can be really annoying:) Luckily, I have a good sense of humor.

  • @717voice and your also glad i know how to hack the planes computer to replace the recordings with my own voice ... but they thought i "broke" the plane and threatened to fired me (they didn't) but at least i got rid up Pull up ... Pull up and terrain

  • I hear you alllllllll too often. Ease up..i was just a few hundred feet off! :) loveeeee it.

  • Great... "Altitude, altitude" has a face.. God damn it :)

  • @Paun991 LOL:)

  • you sound nothing like the bitch in the cockpit :P (in a positive way)

during the recording for the MD's why did you sound more annoying?

  • @derinerkan I recorded the MD voices first. They were much more picky about being monotone. And each warning had to fit into a one second interval - something the military didn't impose.

  • Hey- I thought I reconized you in this Boeing 717 article with Jodie Foster!

     boeing.com/news/frontiers/archive/2004/october/i_ca5.html

So were you an MD/Boeing engineer at Long Beach? Do you still work with Boeing?

  • @CrimsonFury4202 Yup - that was me with Jodie Foster. Man, that seems like so long ago. I worked for Boeing for 21 years in Flight Controls in Long Beach but quit a couple years ago. I'm a mechanical engineer. I was also "published" in the NY Times recently!

  • This is brilliant. Sorry if it;s already been asked, but did you do the MD-11 as well? If so, your voice has been replicated on the PMDG MD-11 add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X!

  • @18vallancel Well, a lot of people say that I'm on the MD-11 but I don't really know for sure. I recorded the aural warnings for MD-10 and 717 (and C-17 and C-130). So perhaps they have worked their way onto the MD-11?

  • Bitching Betty :)

  • Tenks ! my Cockpit voice for new FSX

    Excelent!

  • Very nicely done, 717voice. I always wondered who did the voice and now you just answered it. Thanks again for introducing yourself. :)

  • It's great to see the (nice)face of the voice!! Thanks a lot for this video!

I was smiling the whole time watching it!

Not even comparable to the male voice on the airbus, I definetly prefer to hear a nice female voice in the cockpit!

    Very good job!

  • @arixtos Thank you for the nice comments:)

  • XD im flying on fsx, but the only anoying thing is the stabilizer warning :P but i think ur doing a good job :)

  • @sakhalin12 Thanks....I think:)

I would imagine that the "stabilizer motion" warning would get a bit tedious if you have to trim a lot.

  • @717voice Just another simulator pilot, but I believe the stabilizer motion one means the stab is fluttering or something?

  • ah ha great job do you do the airbuses too?
