I love you Mark Lanegan. I swear I could just tune out to his music. Lock myself in my room, light a candle and listen to all his albums. He's just that amazing. I need to go see him live.!!!
Does anyone know any other songs from Mark or any other artist who have a song similar to this sound? Carnival...I just absolutely think this is one of the best pieces of art I've ever heard. Any other recommendations, whether they're songs or artists ..I would really really appreciate it.
i used to do mad blow to this song. then dope. and now as i try to get clean i listen to this song to bring me back to how i once felt. only a dope head would know what i mean.. its like going to walgreens cant do it any more. junkie hang out spot
@demoncleaner45 M. Lanegan reminds me of Tom Waits. For some time now I can't stop listen to both, and every new song I listen from any of them gets me to another one. To me they are two really great musicians, with really great songs.
@jeandepaul haha wtf? you are able to take a bath and bbq and listen to music and watch youtube(on what??) all while in the bath? id like to see how that set up is..lol rock on
@TheThroney I'm in my iBath cooking on my iBBq app on my iPhone, with my faithful iHound lying next to me, and it sounds like someone has just made an iScream. Keep the faith brutha!
@theartofnotbeingseen I was 27 when this album came out. Bought it & loved it. Listened to it many times then & now. Don't worry. I'm still discovering things from it. I'm 43 now. Forget about time, my friend - it really does not exist. The longer you live you will realize the meaning of what I just said. The road goes on forever....no beginning and no end.
@theartofnotbeingseen I'm just now discovering his music at 22 after finding out he worked with QOTSA after listening to "In the Fade". Its always a great feeling though discovering artists you were never aware of.
@theartofnotbeingseen i'm 28, and listened to fuckin screaming trees in the 90's....just discovered his solo albums though, i also just discovered the velvet underground
@imgoing2hellcom the velvets are awesome.. i've got some really good memories of that band.. just got really into them last summer, and their song "heroin" got me so pumped up that i didn't realize i was going 90 down the highway until probably at least a minute later.. i remember thinking "why are all these damn cars going so slow?
@imgoing2hellcom I'm 38 and listened to the trees and this, I was young when I seen them. I'm figuring you were 12, Great TASTE!!! That was about how old I was when I got turned onto Lou and the Velvets, awesome as well, I always thought Lou Reed an influence on Mark.
I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. God Bless!
You can never find songs like this anymore. Everything these days seems to just stick to a formula, and it's starting to suck all of the originality out of whatever gets put out on the market. But at least you can't get rid of the classics. Thanks for the post man and if you can make more.

I really like the Irish-sounding violin (?) outro. does anyone else know of music that sounds like this, besides Lanegan himself?
