U know u can just call Sprint and they will give u the code for free and u don't have to have root to change It just tell them u called a wile ago and they was going to give u a data reset number and It was # something something and they will give u the code ;)

i dont see a difference :( my kbps are still 1650 everytime or around there and i dont have 4g in my area i wished it worked before the msl hack i got like the same thing or maybe more i think

Now it won't let me connect to server for ping with msl reader changed I got 115ms then I got 140 ms. Then download got 1768kbps then got 1400kbs, then upload got 373kbps then got 370kbps that's all on 3g since here n phx az there is no 4g yet

Dude! I just tried this hack and it lowered, I repeat lower my download as well as upload speeds on 3G. Worse even when I went back to put previous settings I did NOT get my fast download or upload speeds. I regret doing this and may have do factory settings reset :(

Help!!!! I got my msl and when I enter ##3282# nothing happens.... running mikg 2.3 on evo 4g I tried over and over nothing will happen is there another way to access those settings???? I watch all of videos and never had any problems with other things you've shown....

you dont have to be rooted in order to do this. Being rooted only helps you with the app that reads your MSL. If you have the OTA uptae to 2.3.3 on your evo like I did or you just dont want to root your evo use CDMA Workshop to retrive your MSL. I did it on my OTA updated EVO 4G 2.3.3 and it worked. After you get the MSl then follow zedomax instructions to set all the proxy settings to 0s it wont let me post the link to the thread tho!! if i send the link to you can you max put it in the desc!!

I don't have this issue with my 3D, it's the same as my EVO, even after I did this on my EVO i couldnt tell a difference accept at my grandparents where there's 1 bar if your lucky!
