@LucasNed360 What do you mean by "unfortunatly"? It could be used as a second way starting it for those who didn´t get it fixed even with Trickster´s own fix. And since it´s legit and all, they accepts this solution as well... the only thing that´s a bit complicated, is the starting bit anyways.

@LucasNed360 Forgive me what I´m about to say but... that is a one lame excuse. You play a game because you like it, not because someone else likes it. You also play a game to relax in your free-time. Really, if you don´t like it, why bother looking this up? I have friends that plays other games for instance, that doesn´t mean I need to play them. I´d suggest you might need to stop playing before it really begins to bore you out... that moment will come.

@quickstrikeman Perhaps. I´m more sure of the other version shown in the thread in the infowindow though. I think I saw some Vista users there saying they got it fixed as well at least. Why not check it out and see? But to be fair, it was all about Windows 7 back then... well, mostly anyways.

@quickstrikeman I don´t need to say that Trickster still is a Vista hating game right? I´m pretty sure that still is the case... and that it was mentioned somewhere in the thread as well. Well, if you think about it, that operative system always had some issues with this game. Or maybe it was the other way around...(?) (btw, not as important, but what´s with the lack of dots, commas explainationmarks etc? They signify what you mean like a question or a point! I find that pretty odd.)

Is there a possibility that you could transfer the game trickster to another pc using an internet cause I need trickster and it keeps on saying

@mavidd Well, the game is downloadable from their site. Still, you will loose your pictures if you took any so save those if you need to re-download the game. Otherwise it´s just to download again from Trickster´s mainsite. And no, you can´t transfer the game as it is. The only way is to download the game again from the site where you found it. You might need to update some as well, since their latest game might be a bit old and need patchings.

@FinalHype I meant the folder and the game inside it is it transferable cause if I try to download it will try and repeat this things so since then I wanted to test things out and my brother's friend was the one who transfer his trickster to our computer so I was thinking if it would be okay if you could give me the link of trickster one that has the latest one!!!!

@mavidd That would only be the site´s anyways... since I did not get mine from anyone the last time I updated... sure, I did get my brother´s one time long long ago when they released the game. After a month or so, the game started to glitch a bit... this was in -96 though... I think. Well, sure, I will send you the latest... though you can do it yourself. As for the "virus" warning...well, Trickster isn´t a perfect game and many programs reads it like one despite it not being one.

@GabrielWoohooo Have you even updated your splash? Now you don´t need to do this anymore... just hit the splash and play.. they fixed it for most win 7 players now.

@iAmLadyTaTa Yeah, I kind of saw that as well... at first I thought it was because of my forum ban (I swore badly once... was angry at one point) but since you have it too, it must be some problem they got during the latest maintain... still, you can play the game even if it doesn´t seem to connect there.

Great news! They have finally fixed it entirely! Trickster Online now works on Win 7 as any other new mmo. This guide might now only work as a reminder how it was... we sure had a big problem didn´t we? ^_^'

@iAmLadyTaTa Even with the game turned on? You probably just can´t find it easily. Try to sort them in alphabetic order and maybe you´ll find it more easier.

@STK910 I followed Tuvis´s solution I have as a link in the infowindow and had to go with the solution 3.b since I couldn´t use the .bat file suggested as a startfile. And thus I needed to time the splash with the "end application". I did fail a few times later on because I actually have a bad timing sense. Maybe you need to check out the 3a solution. I´m quite sure it´s for the Home edition.

@STK910 I PMed it for you... that "mode" is something I don´t like. If something´s going to work, it might as well be on the darn system you use and not any emulators. (Yes, I think it´s´an xp emulator) The way I used is one of these not using an emulator aka win 32 xp mod.

@STK910 I had to install a Windows above another then erase the useless files of the old one. Later on it updated itself and became a whole new one entirely. AS for how I got the game to work, I read the thread (tthat´s in my infowindow btw) which tells you what to do. There´s alot of reading though but well worth it. Not everyone got it fixed though but at least many did and is now gaming ETO. Make sure you have -64. Not too sure of the -32 one... most -32s doesn´t work...

@STK910 When you upgrade or change into any of the Windows 7, you´re stuck with it. It´s not a question to just switch. To restart all the things again might not work for me. The best thing is to save to another computer with the darn system, which you won´t make me do at anytime soon btw. It seems that all the 64 bits should work fine though. At the site they had the same, heck even the one making this option up had it!

graaaaaaaah.....i have the home premium system......sigh.....bad luck for meh.....anywho for your information, W7 Professional and W7 Ultimate systems are compatible to begin with because these two systems able to run any Windows XP systems software unlike Windows 7 home premium......sigh.....just telling you....ahhaahha....

@STK910 If you mean the XP emulator, I don´t use that. Nor will I install that on top my win 7, since that may distrupt my rams. It did the last time I updated. I had two windows on at the same time and it took alot of my memory so I had to do everything again to fix it.

@haganebr I´ve tried some gameplay at xfire which probably could be counted as a let´s play like a few Borderlands ones and Fallout 3. I´ve also have a few with Trickster as well there were I also talk a bit. My first try "100 & 100´s" was in my own opinion a failed attempt though. I guess I wasn´t ready back then... maybe I´ll do one LP with my brother sometime... it´s much more fun with more folks...X) You get to tease them etc.. XD A piece of that you can see in my L4D vid "Sweded Gaming".

@romarios5 Did you even check the site I have in my infowindow? There is of course another way for Home Premium. They´re using the .bat file. Go to the adress in the infowindow and check for yourself. It´s there to direct you to the source after all.

@wat9060 Then it might just be that timing I was talking about... uh, I think you need to be around 1-2 sec fast to click on the end process after starting the game. It could be less though... have to be really quick! I think you only need a few tries.

@HelpifySol Not really no.. this is the newest solution I heard of. Best part it doesn´t use any phony gameguard.des files. Before I did this, I actually updated the files normally. I hope you use the Windows 64 bit either professional or ultimate. It´s not yet sure 32 bit works with this. For one of my brothers it didn´t so... might not work if you have 32 bit.

Nice work, but I think you should add that this only works for those with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. Trickster won't work on Win7 32-bit. Am I right?

@FinalHype Sometimes, people don't know if they have the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Win7. What you saw being mananged on a 32-bit version, might as well been the 64-bit for all I know.

@HelpifySol Beats me... all the different errors I heard of back at the forum are so varied it´s almost silly. Maybe you´ll find an answer in the forum at the site I have in my infowindow. (you save time to try finding the thread that way too!) I know very little of the errors myself since I only experienced a few of them, and that were pretty easy to restore. Best let someone more... professional answer at the forum. Saw one that answered the most complicated questions.

@wat9060 What they describe in the forum makes you cahnged the very fondation of the basic admin tools. This means it cannot fail. You must´ve missed something... plus there ARE other versions of windows which needs to be used in another way. Imo forget win 7 32 though... the chances they fixed that one are slim at best...

@wat9060 Also to think about... XD you CAN fail... it´s about a certain timeing as I say in the video. If you do it slightly too slow you might get the errors... but only because you failed with the timing... funny though... I SUCK at timing!

Sorry to say, but it´s illegal I heard... if you get that file or files back, and follow what Tuvis says in the thread I have in the infowindow (and have the windows mentioned) you can do this... there IS some preparations you need to do. This is shown at the site I have in the infowindow.... check that out and try again. Don´t delete the files... get them back dude!
