Some people say these contest things for street kids are a watse of time. I strongly disagree. I think they serve the high purpose of reminding us all that these kids are not animals living on the street. They are human beings with value and talent and hopes and dreams just like the rest of us. If such contests make one person stop and think about that, they are a great success.

I remember the two guys with long hair. They used to sing in the buses I took to and from univ. where I studied. The tambourine player is gorgeous.

One of them if Jeff who disappeared after the Jogja earthquake on 27 May 2006. He is a hero for the children.
