I know a lot of people have posted here stating how much they love this film, I must admit that having watched it 3 or 4 times, I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd have wanted to. The OST is amazing, the performances & scripting are excellent, it looks fantastic and its based on a fascinating story but still it left me feeling a little cold for some reason. I'll have another go of course.

This was an excellent movie. Just saw it for the first time (yay Netflix recommendations). Can't believe I didn't hear anything about it five years ago when it came out. Thomas Jane really deserved some serious industry attention, and of course didn't get it since its not a typical Hollywood release.

I thought it would be interesting to see a movie about South Africa under Apartheid, but I found that this movie over-sanitizes the real Andre Stander.

Stander was said to have been an inept policeman, who got his promotions because of family connections. Under Apartheid, the best jobs were reserved for Afrikaners. So if you were White and a bum, you were assured a job.

Andre Stander is a bad ass i wish he lived in the end an just became a bartender or something in Ft. Lauderdale just living a low profile life but i guess he always needed action, this is one of my favorite movies of all times Tom Jane is awesome and he is currently working on the second Punisher Film, to bad they never put out a soundtrack for this film i was looking for these songs forever on limewire, the same guy also did the Ocean's 11, an 12 sound tracks
