  • you have to install a kernel that comes with voodo sound, you may find lots of information at xda developers (google it) :)

  • looks like we cant solve the problem without rooting or flashing the phone..

been buying the paid version of Voodoo Control Plus but it said that my kernel is not supported.. duh..

  • @ditemoron you have to install a kernel that comes with voodo sound, you may find lots of information at xda developers (google it) :)

  • @edgc install a kernel still need a rooting right? iam totally noob on that part of skill and experience, even i upgrading both my froyo and gingebread trough Samsung Service Centre on my city..

  • mute in 0,3 sek.

  • so how to fix it? od android 2.3 is enough ?

  • @DZG I havent tried recording in loud environment after i upgraded but i doubt it. The problem is that the microphone sensitivity should be adjustable in the settings, but in order to gain access to it you still have to root the phone.

  • damn!!how come i gonna have this phone with this issue!!?crap!!

samsung shud fix this then i'll buy..

  • my ears, my beautiful ears...

  • I have the same problem too , Galaxy S i9000 . Is there any solution to this ? ( software solution ) maybe an app or a custom kernel at XDA devs ?

  • @92mosess It would be great if there was an app i could just install and it would fix it, i really don't know enough about this phoen to be installing new kernels and whatever. I wish Samsung would just fix it :(

  • @skog77 Ok so i headed over to XDA Developers and found a solution . It involves flashing a certain kernel which includes a long list of improvements as well as the sound fix . after flashing the kernel to your device you can download a certain app from the market , the app lets you control stuff like " recording environment : indoors/ loud environment / etc ... "

I made a quick test for this and it seems like its working really nicely :) . If you need any help tell me ;)

  • @92mosess Dude that's awsome. But i just have some questions, what happens with the warranty if i do that? And will phone upgrades from Kies still work? I'd love to try it, i really like filming with the phone, it just drives me nuts that the sound is so crap.

  • @skog77 Check inbox !

  • this issue can be resolved with either software or hardware management. Either search for Voodoo sound or look at my videos for the hardware solution.
