According to a French pilot of 1940, the LeO 451 was tricky to take-off, even more tricky to land... but, once in the air, it was a marvellous war aircraft - a good tactical bomber, well defended with its machine-guns and 20 mm cannon. Too bad that it arrived only in Spring 1940...
