As I said originally-there is a clear-cut statistical difference between the Clinton administration's reign-the ONLY democratic president in the past 28 years, and all the republican presidents. Some of what 3rd parties advocate is pretty sweet, unfortunately they'd probably be more effective as a powerful lobby then an actual political party, some of them just have nothing else do except "make a point" which is fine, unless you get someone in office like Bush/Cheney. I mean if you're a Nadar, or Green Party supporter can you honestly say life would be just as bad under Gore? We probably wouldn't be in Iraq and would be a lot closer to alternative fuels then we are now.

You're probably right. It's going to be difficult for McCain to best Obama in a one on one. The abortion issue is touchy especially when framed exclusively in terms of _abortion_; frame it in terms of a woman's right to choose and the emphasis changes.
