I have to say I disagree.

The collapse against Spain was down to a number of reasons but NEVER lack of stamina. The team was full of players who could run all day long. But Frank Arnesen, who was suspended, was out that day. And when Spain equalised just before half time through a defensive error it was an enourmous backlash to the Danish team. They never managed to recover fully without Arnesen in the middle and Spain went on to win 5-1. The game never entered extra time by the way.

Brondby, I'm italian. Very good your comment. I add something: Denmark was unexperienced and very unlucky.For expertience I mean: there wasn't need to score six goals against Uruguay. Useless to win against Germany: Arnesen out, and Germany against Marocco and you against Spain (a very good team). Unlucky because you played better in the first half, you surely won without that horrible mistake at the (Jesper Olsen?). And Elkjaer made some good actions on 1-1. Last: Laudrup wasnt' in the game.

Caro Federico, come ho già scritto nel mio pessimo inglese, penso abbia ragione Brondby. Riguardo i pareri di Bearzot: grandissimo nel 78 e 82 ma nell'86... Non sono juventino ma non la odio. La sconfitta della D. contro la Spagna mi amareggiò, così come quella della Juve con l'Amburgo. Su Laudrup: mi piaceva fin da quando giocava nella Lazio, ma gli è sempre mancata la grinta. Lui stesso ha detto che considerava il calcio un lavoro. E Platini disse: "il migliore? Laudrup. In allenamento..."
