Glad to hear of your recovery. Have you heard of The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates? It is amazing in helping recover the body from auto-immune disorders. It is the next step up from your diet. It has helped my family tremendously recover from candida, eczema, in process of reversing vitiligo, removed warts, helps the nervous system. Best of luck to you. Ester
@BumsenDK Gluten and dairy is POISON!!!..we are all miserable and sick because of it!! kids have ADD and autism from it, and the food industry just wants us to consume more and more!!, and most doctors just want us to live off of pharmaceutical drugs that cure nothing!!
Go to Livin La Vida Low Carb by Jimmy Moore. Listen to the experts and learn about how we have been lead down the wrong path. Wheat and grains are not a natural part of the human diet and that is scienctific fact. Thus this chap is feeling better because he is geting off the metabolic roller coaster. Simple science, biochemistry 101 and medical fact, not medical belief.
@BumsenDK Oral chelation hasn't killed anybody & they gave the people the wrong kind of EDTA that pulled to much calcium out. Pharmaceuticals kill millions. I am talking about oral DMSA & or oral EDTA. Chelation has helped many & the research in the USA Isn't invalid .... Before you go saying something is scientifically invalid you need to spell it right & know what you are talking about.
It's important to mention how much clearer headed I feel, even in my limbs. And definately more energy, able to do more things in a day. (What I AM eating is predominantly beans, rice, vegetables, some fruit, almond milk.) People might be surprised to find how many ways of eating these things there are. (But simplicity feels great, too.)
I've been trying to be as GFCF as possible for the last couple of months. I love the difference! If I slip up a tiny bit (a minor ingredient in something else for example) I feel the difference right away and as stomach pain for a day or 3. I won't be able to experiment with it much in the future, because I can't imagine going back! This all combine with a predominantly vegan, organic diet, also avoiding foods difficult for my blood type (A) to handle (potatoes, tomatoes...) body as a temple
I gotta tell you this gluten free diet has changed my world! I was crippled for 20 years from this shit the doctors called ibs and the meds never ever worked I was sick everyday with my stomach I was tired I was having panic attacks and its helped me out 1000% fuck meds try this diet
I wanted to ask you how long have you been on the diet and did you have depression, too I have had depression and have had stomach problems...I think it is celiac disease but anyway should i try it?
Hi, thanks for sharing- that great. I have a child with autism and a daughter NT too. We are all on the GF/CF diet and this is helping all of us, no doubt, and in different ways. The way it helps me is with attention, emotional evenness and multi tasks, even though I did not know I could actually do better than I did. But I could. My daughter, is much better with her gut function and was better emotionally and socially though now with puberty things are up and down. My son needs it.
hi phonehead, will u add me as a friend? i also have asperger or autism. my shrink isnt sure what to say. atleat im more like autistic than an asperger so would u be nice add me as your friend on youtube and than i mean "friend" like internet friend. PS: u look alittle skinny. just skin and bones? ones again add me or.............(piip)
I'm gluten intolerant as heck, yet due to circumstances (financially) I ate some high gluten containing food this day, and afterwards I began to get pain in my back, the itchy skin returned, reddening, headache and pain in my whole bowel area... and last but not least I feel exhausted! Thnx gluten lol
Anyway, gluten also interferes with the nerves in the brain! Going gluten free is therefor always good for your brain. Going gluten free also increases nutrient absorption from food.
Thank you for the videos. My daughter is 4 and on the spectrum and is unable to communicate meaningfully, and has been on this diet for over 3 months. We can only see improvements externally so this is a good view point. Good Luck.
Hi I live in the UK and I don't know what milk I can drink, apparently Rice Dream has gluten in it and some soya milk has it in too? How strict ru on the diet? Thanks for the great and insightful videos.
I hope you don't mind me asking but is the GFCF diet affordable? I am from a reasonably low wage/working class back ground and am considering taking this diet on, what are your thoughts on this?
if ur willing to bake ur own bread, it certainly is a lot less expensive. it all depends on what kinds of foods u want to eat, im just eating what i feel like, since im less tight on the money.
the only things that are more expensive as I see it is bread and milk. the bread is about 3x as expensive and the milk 2x the price.
Thanks for the reply, bread baking is definitely the way forward as you're right it is very expensive to buy! I find soya milk can actually be less expensive than cow's milk, not sure about the others like rice, etc. It always surprises me what contains gluten and casein!
I changed a lot after I stopped eating meat. And changed further when I took most dairy out of my diet.
I'm "on a very fixed income", so I look for free food where I can get it. A lot of the free food programs in the park and in temples are gluten free. I still eat whole wheat products, but am cutting back.
When I fall into depressive states, I have a worse diet (don't eat enough, or eat the wrong foods), which makes my mood worse. So I am trying to keep track of my eating habits more.
i get some of that too, when depresseing i easily forget to eat :S
I can more or less spend what i want on food, but dont have the energy to shop around, and often ill be without the right foods for a day or two, resulting in me not getting enough food during that period => low bloodsugar and "bad" performance.
Diffeence between night and day. Look at some of your older videos compared to now. Put them up side by side. You were a robot with a monotoned voice. You can tell your hygene is better now too. Combed hair, nice shirt. Your posture and attitude is ubeat. You are engaging the camera. Don't you ever put another grain of gluten or ounce of dairy in your body again. Never.
Have you seen the movie Awakenings with Robbin Williams. This is what it was like for me when I removed dairy and gluten out of my diet. Complete 180. I'd actually enjoy conversations with others, could focus, could sleep, wanted to get out and exericise. I'm 33 and lived with this my whole life and didn't even know it until this summer.

moods: yep, but im sure its not due to the diet.. did you mean that? actually im more prone to "low" periods during the winter time. but it cycles during all seasons.. normally me being unshaved would be a sign of a "low" period, but isnt in this video, I´ve simply been to busy to get it done ;)
What I'm inquiring about is do you go from feeling somewhat normal to feeling sad/indifferent? Can you go for say 3 weeks feeling fine and then another 7-10 days feeling like you don't want to do anything? Is this a repeating cycle throughout the year? Year in and year out?
id say my swings are greater. both on an emotional and a time-scale. ill go from productive to reclusive to slighty depressed/indifferent... and then its 50/50 if ill either pop out of it or go on a tough depressed spree for a week or so. the whole swing probably takes 8-9 weeks.
using the integrated cam on the HP laptop btw.. something generic.
the bastards at HP apparently put the microphone on top of the cooler.... thus the noise. the laptop itself is very quiet (as prefered when i sit by it 18 hours a day)
During my 20's, I got stuck in the reclusive/slightly depressed/indifferent stage. I think it was 7 years. Your swings sound familiar to mine. I was attempting to see if it was a 3:1 ratio for a reason.

This is scientificly invalid.
Just like the heavy metal removal you speak of. that even kills people.

@BumsenDK How would removing mercury from your brain kill you?!?
HybridPineapple 1 year ago
@HybridPineapple Chelation should not be undertaken lightly. It has no effect on autistic people.
I dont have mercury in my brain.
People have died from chelation.
BumsenDK 1 year ago
@BumsenDK Yeah it's not that safe, but there are many other ways to remove mercury from the brain.
