  • its agassi hitting with verdasco?

  • @TheDrunkGuineaPig1 No, that's not Agassi.

  • @VerdascoFan well he aint lubijic

  • @TheDrunkGuineaPig1 Clearly not. Ljubicic uses the Head Youtek Extreme which yellow. Also, his strokes look completely different than this person's; who doesn't even have a one-hander.

  • The bald guy Verdasco is hitting with is Melle van Gemerden of the Netherlands. He used to be a top 100 pro. He got caugh using Cannabis and was suspended for it for a few months in 2005. BTW, he has a weird grip and take back on his forehand. Very extreme grip, IMO.

  • Who is the guy he is hitting with. I have a video of them hitting in Miami a few years ago.

  • his practice partner is very good :D

  • lol i like that last point

    nice

  • 480p is skippy like peanut butter.

  • why is verdasco playing with andre agassi?

  • @Danhh98 No It's the dutch guy Melle van Gemerden

  • it is not Ljubicic. Ljubicic has a one handed backhand :)

  • the bald guys forehand is fucked up

  • @baultarts its andre agassi. LOL.

  • @baultarts Your fucked

  • best forehand on tour

  • does anyone know who verdasco is hitting with.its really racking my brain i think its agassi but aaaaaah!

  • @dantheamazingful It looks like Ljubicic. I could be wrong though but it does look like him.

  • @GreatestCreation909

he looks like agassi too lol xd

  • @GreatestCreation909 ya that was my first guess but ljubicic has a 1 handed backhand:{

  • @dantheamazingful I'm almost positive its Ljubicic, looking at 1:24 and 1:36 when his head is more or less sideways it looks a lot like Ivan

  • 1 handed backhand at 0:44?

  • Great forehand and he's in such a good shape

  • one of the three atp players don't bend his elbow during the groundstroke

  • thumbs up for andre agassi

  • Thumbs up for Darren Cahill at 0:59

  • One of the best forehands, and one of the forehands that closely resembles Federer

  • Such a good forehand. So effortless because of his good contact and racket head speed.

  • who is his hittingspartner?

  • @RogerFedererFan94

    He looks like Hitman

  • 0:47 one handed

  • haha, chrome dome is trying so much harder than Verdasco

  • @banditjr770

would be ironic if chrome dome is hitting as well as verdasco no?

i dont think he's even a pro player

  • @foul01 no, I meant that this is just a warmup for verdasco, but Chromie is trying hard to keep up with him b/c he is not a pro.

  • verdasco ty chuju, zlamasie i popierrrrdolencu

  • @scottdavis0676

thank you! i was hoping for an ignorant reply like that :) just to to confirm my assmuption of you being just another weak-minded fool. No need to continue with replying from my side :)

  • @scottdavis0676

do you really think anyone cares what you think?

  • narrrr can t be IVAN L hit s a onehanded backhand....

  • i wish federer would hit in training like this by filming him on that camera position

  • Verdasco? Isn't he the guy who tries to sleep with every WTA player except the likes of Williams brothers.

  • @gg2000gg2000 exactly :D he is awesome

  • @gg2000gg2000 No he's the guy with one of the the best-looking and most effective FHs in the game who was in the top 10 and made the semis of the AO in '09; pushing tournament-end Champ Nadal to 6-4 in the 5th. He's also a DC hero and a very talented player. Let's stick to tennis facts and stay away from pointless rumours.

  • they guy he hits with is fucking awesome, who is this ?

  • @Icecerific Ivan Ljubicic

  • lol @ 1:03 "Fernando we love your mohawk!"

  • i just realized tennis is the most demanding game, like you have to be fast, strong, quickly, coordinated, smart, strong in legs, upper body, arms, good reaction, mentally ready, good mechanic, concentration, endurance I mean i think tennis is the most demanding sports of all... thumbs up for that please....

  • @andreg92 Tennis takes amazing skill and physical ability...but the most physically demanding sport of all? In terms of physically demanding I can think of a lot of sports/activities tougher than tennis.

  • @andreg92 No, there are many more sports that are more demanding than tennis. You are right about tennis being demanding, but there are more demanding sports.

  • @davd1986 physically tennis might not be the most demanding sports but psychologically wise its definitely gotta be up there imo :o

  • @andreg92 I would have give you a thumb up if u just didnt asked for it...

  • @andreg92 many other sports have those requirements. What makes tennis demanding is the fact that you are alone. Tennis is most comparable to golf, MMA, and boxing but even in those two sports you have caddy/coaches. In

  • @thegarbageman21 Golfing isn't a sport. End of story.

  • @andreg92 lol all of what you said could be boxing as well its not at all lol why does everyone say that the sport they play is the most demanding i play tennis for a club and have entered several tournaments, i have also sparred week in week out at my boxing gym, they dont even compare boxing is just ridicolously hard in terms of everything mostly fitness you have to be more fit than a tennis player i would say by far although im not saying tennis players arent fit

  • i like his hairstyle very much here

  • Comment removed

  • Tecnifibre or Dunlop?

  • Hitting partner is owning him.

  • Don't like elbow bent forehands- especially like this guy. Prefer verdasco's. Much more similar to the 3 best forehands currently- Federer, Nadal, and Del Potro's. besides- elbow bent looks and can really end up being stiff. .

  • The hitting partner is a Dutchman, Melle van Gemerden. He was the number 100 in the world.

  • tfu! scierwo skonczone!

  • Verdasco jest cwelem i balwanem skonczonym! Zebys jak najszybciej skonczyl z tenisem idioto!

  • If you look closely while the camera is zoomed in on Verdasco, you can see some clouds of ball fuzz poof out every time he hits a forehand.

  • this happens to everyone if they hit hard.. me 2..

  • The hitting partner is pretty G'd up himself. WoW

  • el calvo molaaa

  • notice how his hitting partner put topspin on his forehand.

  • @philze128 casual practise hitting and warmups is so different to an actual match.

  • He's a poor mans Rafa, not that that's even a bad thing

  • He's Spanish and a lefty, thats about it... 2 COMPLETELY different players

  • JUEGA MEJOR EL CALVO XDDDDD

  • strokes are beautiful

  • if you look at him closely, he is actually kinda skinny.

  • IF tank=skinny then you'd be right

  • haha. well kinda thin, but his arm looks great.

  • he has amazing form on his strokes. love watching him play!

  • Look like a couple of hackers to me...kidding...

  • i wanna see verdasco hitting with agassi some one get me a video of them playing in the off season

  • that guy has pretty big arms

  • his hitting partner is melle van gemerden and hes a friend of mine,

he just returned form a 2 year back injury.

before the injury he was nbr 100 in the world and rising....

  • Nando's hitting partner doesn't have very fluid strokes :o

  • @allgenremusic - everyone looks robotic next to verdasco

  • Eh I guess, but I mean even compared to many other pros, he doesn't hit that smoothly :o

  • you don't have to be fluid to hit with a pro, or even BE a pro, look at J.mac.

  • just out of interest, do people prefer verdasco's mohawk (in this vid) or his current mullet? Give a thumbs up for mohawk. Thumbs down for mullet

  • i dont care hes awesome either way.

  • @wat870

i think the mohawk makes him look much younger then the mullet. But both hairstyles fit him

  • @wat870

What are you culturally inept? It's a fohawk, not a mohawk dummy.

  • @lureyourkidsinvan well if your gonna be pedantic, then it's actually a FAUXHAWK!

  • @lureyourkidsinvan Actually, it's closer to a real mohawk. A "fauxhawk" is when your hair length is close to normal, all over, and you shape it into a mohawk to give it that illusion. Vedasco's sides of his head here are clearly trimmed very short, perhaps they were nearly skin just a week earlier, and so his mohawk is the real deal.

  • does verdasco use a number 1 grip size? it looks very small.

  • nah it looks like 4 3/8 or somtin like that cause it looks small life fed and nadals and they use tht size

  • is that Ivan Lubj?

  • Nope. Ivan has a one handed backhand!

  • it's melle van gemerden

  • Wow it's so HD that you can see the ball fuzz when Fernando hits his forehand.

  • 1:03 "Fernando we love your mohawk!"

  • Damn nice ears.

  • Murphy Jensen

  • No he is a lefty it's Melle van Gemerden

  • I think the bald guy is Melle van Gemerden

  • dont really think it's the roland garros (bnp paribas open) as they're training on a hard court, and i think his sparring partner here is ivan ljubicic

  • nah.. i forgot the name of the guy, but he plays satellites.

besides, ljubicic has a one handed backhand

  • The bnp paribas open is played in Indian Wells, California, not France.

  • ohh shit yea! after watching that final, and to see how many winners he had off the FH, yea hes gonna b awesome! im just waiting to see when Verdasco is gonna get his major!

  • best forehands, Sampras, Federer, Gonzales, Verdasco, Nadal, Agassi!

  • I agree with that list you got. Also watch out for Del Potro as well. He is still only 20yrs old. Can you imagine when he gets his forehand even more refined? When he learns how to harness all that power that he's got he will no doubt be on the list of the greatest players ever not to mentioned best forehands. All of those other tall players like Querrey, Isner, Karlovic just dont have it.

  • Not to mention, his strokes look nothing like Agassi.

  • So every guy who is bald and plays tennis is Agassi?

  • who is the bald guy? he has very good ground strokes too. Is it Agassi?

  • Are you retarded? If you think it's Agassi...

  • OK smartypants who is the bald guy? Agassi is bald, is R handed with a top spin forehand and a double handed backhand.

  • Verdasco has no weakness. His forehand is safe as houses. Serve is good but not great. He is better than Nadal now and probably better than error prone federer.

I say this as a fed fan mainly becoz of his "niceness" & humility. But his backhand is weak.

  • verdasco is my favorite player but he definitely does have weaknesses: his mental game is the weakest out of anyone in the top 10 and his shot selection is sometimes extremely poor. when he's on form and has got his game together he can come close to beating any1 (nadal and murray Aus open 09). but when the pressures on he often cant handle it. His second serve is also weak

  • @wat870

Verdasco was one of my favorite players until last sunday, when his extremely poor attitude when losing the final really shocked me. He didnt even want to shake hands with the kid Raonic, who has just achieved something wonderful by winning his first tournament. Verdasco just looked away, moving his head in disbelief, with sort of a "fuck you" body language because the kid beat his ass fair and square. He is just a sore loser. Period

  • @glutamin111

He's never usually like that, which makes me think that naturally he's a good sportsman. His attitude at the end of the Raonic match and in the interview afterwards (when he insulted Raonic for having a "12 year old's body") was out of order and quite disgraceful. Obviously something ticked him off during the match. I'm not sure why he was so frustrated this time around (he loses to lesser players all the time!) but it may have just been annoyance at his own game on the day.

  • @wat870

no? hes never usually like that? you should check this out again - /watch?v=v8aQcPHFOpg

As much as the french crowd can be annoying, you would still expect a top 10 player to stay as professional as his ranking suggest, wouldnt you? Obviously he behaves like a 12 year old boy how ironic, isnt it? lol

    Verdasco is a douche

  • Comment removed

  • @glutamin111

I've never seen that before. But he looks as if he's getting pissed off at the unappreciative crowd rather than Gasquet, which is more excusable. It's still unfair on his opponent who's getting distracted. Do you know what he was saying throughout?

  • he has the best forehand on the tour

  • for me fernando Gonzales!!!

  • Fed has the best forehand of all time, the most devastating shot in tennis ever.

Verdasco has a great forehand still.

  • I looovvve his Forehand ans his haircut haha :P he should always keep his hairs like that

  • does anyone know what racket verdasco uses??

  • Tecnifibre.

  • technifibre

  • technifibre

  • i know that lol, which technifibre?

  • Tecnifibre TFight 320 VO2! If your looking to buy one make sure you demo it!

  • verdasco is future #1 potential

  • So god might be a lefty too then, eh?

  • seems he use full western

  • Yoo nice video:D But guys this is not Ljublijic. The guy Verdasco is hitting with is a Dutch tennis player, his name is : Melle van Gemerden ;)

  • verdasco's using a semi-western or hybrid eastern semi-western, depending on the shot

  • was that ljubijic he was hitting with?

  • ljubijic has a 1h backhand

  • lol he hit that last winner so casually

  • that bole one who's fernando hitting to is melle van gemerden!

  • looks like nadals swings

  • I was on the right side, watching the same thing!(:

  • what grip he use on his forehand?

  • semi western or eastern

  • definetly not eastern...its probably semi western maybe western

  • Full Western Dude, how the hell is it Eastern, too much Topspin for eastern

  • Awsome!

  • i like that last shot verdasco hit

  • what's so special with his last shot lol

  • does anyone know what racket/raquet Verdasco uses?

  • Tecnifibre TFight 320 VO2

    Like Tipsarevic

  • hey jeremynp

is he using the tecnifibre tfight 320 in this video

  • yes he is

  • Its actually a paint job of a custom Tyger brand frame. James Blake uses a similar racquet too, again a custom mold.

  • isnt the guy with the bald head ivan lubijiic

  • nah...i thought the same thing until i saw him hit a backhand...lubijiic hits a one hander not 2...unless he recently changed

  • the hd version is just sweet

  • that's melle van gemerden

he was a dutch proffessional tennis player but now he's the coach of verdasco

  • The quality is so high u can see the yellow fuz falling out of the ball whenever he hits the ball lol...coool.

  • i love his partner's backhand

  • Ronaldo can play tennis too!

  • His partner is Melle van Gemerden. He was a professional dutch tennis player and his highest ranking was 100 but he stopped.

  • jij zal wel nederlands zijn

  • what kind of style does he plays?

Is he a big server?or a varios shots player ?or a clay courter?

  • hes pretty much your all around baseline player. he doesnt have much of a weakness, maybe approach the net more often. His groundstrokes are solid. Serve is good. And he's in great shape.

  • You can't tell how good they are from practice, they're only playing at maybe 50% here

  • Well they are only doing prac training... no high intensity workouts... just light hitting.

  • lol...that 's not agassi...looks like martin damm

  • lol his partner is not bad at all!!

  • i dont get it what is so good about this guy?

  • Hey, if you listen carefully around 1:05 ....

I was standing next to the guy who said, "Nando we love your mohawk!"

  • its a fauxhawk

  • isnt his partner ljubicic?

  • no. ljubicic uses a single-handed backhand.

  • its agassi lol
