フランキー・レインの主題歌、放映時はお小遣い一日10円のじだいでしたから、レコード買えませんでした。高校にはいってから購入、真昼の決闘のハイヌーンとカップリングのレコードでした。後にクリント・イーストウッドがイタリア製のマカロニウエスタン（夕日のガンマン）で主役で出てきたので、驚いた記憶があります。ローハイド、日本の騎馬武者もむかばきをはいていましたから、洋の東西、馬上では同じなんですね。
