i was a huge magic fan. my best friends all loved larry bird, so i had to obviously take the other side, & root for magic. he was a Point Guard who, in his Rookie year, won the NBA Championship by playing CENTER for Abdul-Jabbar in the final game, against All Star Center Moses Malone, when Kareem's migraines kept him from the game.

I can't imagine any other point guard doing that.

Also, this was not his final game. He came out of retirement to play forward for a bit, but didn't finish the season

I believe it was, in fact, Magic's final game as a professional, representing his team, the Lakers.

He has even a perilous hook shot. He made a triple double in the age of 36 and his statistics in that age (after a break of four years) are awesome.
