@TonyaTko I already know that Shea Butter is from Africa their is another called African Butter that is naturally yellow, they are similar in certain ways but different in others. The point is that natural Shea Butter is not yellow, so if someone who wanted to know How they can tell the difference that would be a major indicator. Hello Tonya, I was wondering if your product could eliminate my stretch marks? Hello I went to the Dermatologist and I asked him about the celltrixa product if it really worked because I hate, hate, HATE wasting money on something that has no results. He told me he wasn't sure he doesn't know any of his patients that has tried it but vitamin E oil is really good for the skin. I wasted so much money on creams & oils and nothing worked because stretch marks are like scars- tissue is dead. The only way to get rid of them is to mechanically abrade them. This is expensive at dermatologist's office but you can do it cheaply at home using medical crystals. All my stretch marks are gone and I feel normal again. Just google search medicalcrystals.

I would love to know if I could use shea butter *as a sunscreen* on top of my salicylic acid acne treatment (its an Aveeno product which is also daily moisturizer) I have very oily skin, so I am trying to fight acne with salicyclic AND protect my skin from the sun with shea butter. yes thats right consistancy and starting early on. use a good oil or pure shea butter. I find shea to be a little drying so i have to have alomnd oil added in it. YEP up the water intake and eat vit-c, e,a, well prenatal vitamins work along with a good diet. But the truth is stretch marks are hormonal to BUT TRY IT ITS A WORTH A SHOT. I do what i can 20 weeks in no stretch marks at this point.

All the moisturizer in the world will not fix your stretchmarks. Nothing except surgery will *cure* stretchmarks. With pregnancy, the skin must stay moisturized and hydrated BEFORE and during the time your skin begins to stretch (and the breasts MUST stay tied up to keep from permanent sagging!). If Shea could cure stretchmarks...there would be NO need for plastic surgeons. Sorry. But if if makes you FEEL good to do it. Then do so.

I also have them where most ladies have them...on my hips and on my bum! The ones on my bum, I actually like! Weird but I do! All the others are indented ones! They don't look bad but I feel very self-conscious with them+would like to at least diminish them as much as possible! I check my tummy religiously EVERY second to see if any are developing but I'm at the stage where I have to look in a mirror to see my entire tummy! It's still a lil cute bump but it's huge compared to what I had!!

Hi Tanya...I'm currently 23weeks pregnant with my first Baby...yayyyyyy...and I currently use Baby Oil on my tummy to keep it moisturized to help prevent stretch marks but my skin absorbs it really quickly+I don't reapply/use it more than once per day. Hello I went to the Dermatologist and I asked him about the celltrixa product if it really worked because I hate, hate, HATE wasting money on something that has no results. He told me he wasn't sure he doesn't know any of his patients that has tried it but vitamin E oil is really good for the skin. But I must say this solution sound affordable and reasonable I will try this along with the vitamin E that I have already purchased....LOL

I wasted so much money on creams & oils and nothing worked because stretch marks are like scars- tissue is dead. The only way to get rid of them is to mechanically abrade them. This is expensive at dermatologist's office but you can do it cheaply at home using medical crystals. All my stretch marks are gone and I feel normal again. Just google search medicalcrystals.

I have DOZENS of white stretchmarks on my thighs and they are extremely visible because I have tanned skin. I'm really feeling sad about this... I've tried it for six months now with simply *no* results... the same as I was the first day... I exfoliate every day with a strong brush... I would love to know if I could use shea butter *as a sunscreen* on top of my salicylic acid acne treatment (its an Aveeno product which is also daily moisturizer) I have very oily skin, so I am trying to fight acne with salicyclic AND protect my skin from the sun with shea butter. I like shea butter, but I can't tell if the shea butter is making the Aveeno acne cream less effective. I don't know if the pimples pop up because of shea butter or what. yes thats right consistancy and starting early on. use a good oil or pure shea butter. I find shea to be a little drying so i have to have alomnd oil added in it. YEP up the water intake and eat vit-c, e,a, well prenatal vitamins work along with a good diet. But the truth is stretch marks are hormonal to BUT TRY IT ITS A WORTH A SHOT. I do what i can 20 weeks in no stretch marks at this point.

Shea butter works in removing stretch marks! My 13 yr old came to me one day and was like "Mommy, look!" I started making whipped shea butter a few months back and it works!!!!

i bought the yellow one the other day...does it have less of an impact than the white one?

All the moisturizer in the world will not fix your stretchmarks. Nothing except surgery will *cure* stretchmarks. With pregnancy, the skin must stay moisturized and hydrated BEFORE and during the time your skin begins to stretch (and the breasts MUST stay tied up to keep from permanent sagging!). If Shea could cure stretchmarks...there would be NO need for plastic surgeons. Sorry. But if if makes you FEEL good to do it. Then do so.

The stretch marks don't disappear by using sheabutter. But sheabutter makes the stretch marks change their colour and they may be drawn together.
and look at this girl. she has beautiful skin. and just look at those experiences with shea butter.
it's an amazing natural pruduct.

I've been doing a lot of research on the web for my stretch marks. I am 29 and I've had stretch since the age of 15. My skin is dark and the stretch marks are white. Do you think this will work on such old stretch marks as well. Also my skin is very oil, is this ok for oily skin?? Please advise.

I found out about raw unrefined shea butter a little over a month ago. Best investment. Makes my skin really soft and has started to fade some of my dark marks.
