actualy hopelandic isnt a fantasy language its a language is to be interpreted as you wish, this is what sigur ros has intended with hopelandic lyrics, thats why they have an empty lyric space at the back of this album's cover. good job, nice lyrics man. this song is beautifull
I don't think the poster was making light of the song, rather what he hears and INTERPRETS in english. That is the beauty of a Sigur Ros song, even if you don't understand, it means whatever you want it to mean to you, whatever chord it strikes. And yes, this is in Hopelandic and others by them are in Icelandic. Those who don't understand... a bad comarison might be scatting a song, it's really a string of sounds that just fits into the song. Skidley-didley doo-whop, didley didley do whop...
The whole "no lyrics" part of the untitled album works for a reason. The emotions come through without lyrics ruining them. It's hard to write lyrics to such painful music properly, so he didn't even try. Stuff like this is an epic fail and makes the song worse when you read along.
E....tam, a kto mi przetłumaczy islandzki na polski? To robienie jaj jest jest nawet fajne, ale moja zerowa znajomośc tekstów Sigur Ros martwi mnie i smuci....

The ones hating on the lyrics read the damn description. English "INTERPRETATION"... Get it? If not go read a dictionary

Epic Fail.
Jonsi sings Hopelandic in this song. Hopelandic is a fantasy language, it's made up. There are no real lyrics to this song.

@Gambit1984 Wow i didnt know that it wasnt a real language!

@Gambit1984 You are correct, but there are real words as well. Sigur Ros does have lyrics. Not all the songs are Hopelandic.
