Well, it was on the demo tape. Plus they re-recorded it for the soundtrack of "The Crow". That version made it on the "Anger is a Gift bonus disk" in 94 or 95.

I have the "Anger Is a Gift" bonus disk. It is dated 1995 and it is in fact the remastered demo from Live & Rare version. Rage, I'm certain, does not own the rights to the Crow version unfortunately.

Nah, I think its pretty obvious that Settle For Nothing was meant to be a replacement for that song on the debut. The demo solo and Settle's solo are pretty similar. They only needed one slow song on the album. I think they made the right choice.
