This is one of the best and most underrated FM songs, I wished they could add the violin like in the original Album version, mix it with Christine,Stevie and Lindsey and this would be the best song ever!
a beautiful song. beautiful lead vocal by Christine. beautiful instrumentation.most of all, beautiful harmonies at the end. this incarnation of fleetwood mac really did right with this song.
FYI: "Why"- last track from the album "Mystery To Me"(1973). This was prior to Buckingham & Nicks joining the band, and the last album that Bob Weston(guitar) appeared on. The 1973 band line-up: Bob Welch, Bob Weston, Christine McVie, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood.
wow, the harmonies of stevie, christine and lindsey - who have completely different musical styles and personalities - mixed with john and micks musical talent...REALLY are the best ever
(that's Helen Reddy hosting at beginning) This is from the Mac's 1973 album, "Mystery To Me" with Bob Welch before Buckingham & Nicks joined to carry them to Pop stardom. Lindsey & Stevie do a good job on the vocals & blues guitar riffs here.

I wish someone would post the album version of this gem with the lovely orchestra backing Christine's sweet voice.

LIndsey plays the riff that eventually becomes "Never Going Back Again" from "Rumours".
