I went to the website and though I enjoy the cost and selection, I absolutely HATE how you cannot tell which shades are blush/eyeshadow while creating a personalized palette. I also hate how you can't tell the finish :-/

A very big downer with this blushes is that they contain an incredible amount of talc, parabens and mineral oil :(((( all this awful things in one blush :((

Me same...never occurred to me to apply blush to apples of my cheeks. Plus I think on me it looks ridiculous. I thought blush was meant to be used to highlight the bones of the cheek?!?!

finally somebody else who applies blush like me! ;) been doing it this way for years, but everybody else seems to recommend putting it on the apples of your cheeks. and if you were looking for a different brush to try, the old body shop face & body brush (the one with the wooden handle) is soooo amazing, like a cross between a fan brush and a kabuki

the reason the la femme blushes are so great is they were developed for drag queens! I think there are a few queens in the USA that sell la femme. also try to contact on here mistyinfl she uses them and might have a seller for you that she buys from. She swears by rusette color!

The blushes may be great however the company isnt. They dont respond to emails. I eventually placed an order for 18 blushes. I even got an email which sounded like they shipped it to the UK. Not having received it I emailed, no reply. 21 days after ordering I went to investigate & found a msg on their site from 2 days ago to say 1 item was out of stock & what wld I like to do. So long to let me know! I'm not pleased. You guys shld know how they operate. I hope the rest of u have a better luck
@girlintrouble2 I had the same problem with them. They didn't even respond to any of my e-mails when I asked where was my stuff. I'm really disappointed with MakeUpMania, i will never purchase from them again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this blush! I had used a friend's La Femme blush a while back and forgot about it. Then I saw your other video talking about it and went on the hunt. Found them both online and in a beauty supply here in Hollywood and finally picked up a few. We totally have the same taste in blush. Hi there, moving into the winter months (here in Toronto it gets rather drab) what color blush would you suggest I use. I am of Italian background with an olive complection, I do however get a little pale in the winter. What could you suggest I use (general of course, since you can't see me) I use to perk up my look so I don't look like a zombie?!

So I just wanted to say I purchased yabby cosmetics one pallet then eyeshadows... it was very expensive and many of the pans were half full and just nothing special I wasnt impressed, just thought id let you know my experience and i purchased them directly from yabby!
@sarahjuncan --really...? ya cause they are crazy expensive..and i've been wanting to order from them for a bit..but something always held me back..I always got the impression that some had good payoff..and some didn't..and unless u knew which ones..then..forget..sort of thing..Sort of like..a pro 88 palette..
@MercedesGames ... honestly.... they are ok.. i d k i think for the money i paid over 130 for a pallet and the eyeshadows i should have gone to mac or something pay off is ok... the pearl ones is really good but not enough they are tiny. i dont think i would repurchase there is just too many good products out there that are better and bigger and.. better prices!
Hi Wayne, thanks for this, very interested in these blushes. Great advice from you re application. I was wondering about the palettes. Your first review showed them in a different palette. I tried contacting the company re the pan size but no reply so far. Was wondering if they fit it the MAC palettes? Could you tell us your view is regarding the palettes they come in....I think you are using one of those Z palettes now? ;-)

Yep! I totally agree with your method of applying blushes. I never went with the apple of the cheek method. never worked for me. I've always went with your method.
You look absolutely smashing in this video XD I have a quick question: how can you get blushes too stay on longer? I sometimes have a problem with that. I do not wear liquid foundation (as I am still young, and don't need it). I do wear translucent powder or mineral foundation though. What are your recommendations?
Thanks for the blush tips Wayne!! I have a long face with a prominent chin so I guess I do have to apply it a bit lower than the cheekbone. I don't need contouring as it makes me look even thinner and bonier (is that a word?). Any other tips on making the face look more square? I always cut my hair in layers which I think also helps.
I've always thought that you applied your blush way up but I guess it's a matter of taste.

Sorry, this comment has nothing to do with blushes. I simply wanted to know what you think of Giorgio Armani's Face Fabric Foundation and Laura Mercier's Creme Smooth Foundation--that is if you have tried them? I have a difficult time finding a foundation that completely satisfies me, however, the two that I have mentioned above are the best that I have personally used--and believe me, I have many. They are a bit pricey but I feel that they are worth every penny.
I'd say that applying blush to apples of the cheeks is relative from person to person, if I put put blush on the apples of MY cheeks it ends up aligned with the top of my nostrils...which is perfect placement for my face.
I have a ton of la femme products, their piggies are amazing and dirt cheap! Eye shadows are ok...but their blushes are the best I've ever used and have the almost full collection of NARS blushes

@mzkdluster Hi, I would suggest you go to Makeup Alley and check out the reviews of the reviewers with the skin tone: Dark or Tan -- that is what I did and it helped me immensely when choosing color & I, too, am a caramel color WOC. By the way, my favorite La Femme Blushes are Plum Frost, Golden Sunset, Peach Sparkle, Mocha, Cinnabar, Russert and Bordeaux.

@iAMminky3 Umm, the La Femme eyeshadows are OK, not as pigmented as the the La Femme Blushes; however, I would recommend the Ben Nye eyesahdows they are more pigmented, have a larger color range and are nicer quality than the la Femme eyeshadows. By the way, i own several La Femme eyeshadows but I prefer Ben Nye. I hope this helps.
Hi I know this is not related to this video but I need help! I have combination skin where my tzone can get extremely oily by mid day. I use a similar skincare routine to the one in your "acne cure" video but I also use a mattifying lotion w/ it. I use the graftobian cream foundation & set it with their powder using your pat & roll method with a puff and my makeup looks great..until a couple hours later and I look so greasy! Any tips? I've tried makeup setting sprays and they make me look oiler!
Can u do a video on ur best concealers for under eyes & blemishes? I'm only 26 an don't think I have any visible wrinkles but my mac studio fix concealer for some reason makes me look older, it really sits in the lines. Bobbi brown is similar. Are there any that don't do this??

To anyone (spesh in the UK) still waiting for their order, I just received my order today, after just over 3 weeks..
Whilst waiting I didn't get a reply or update on status until about 3 days ago when it changed from 'awaiting fulfillment' to 'shipped'- which was a bit annoying but I guess if the money has been taken then your order should be with you soon? Good luck x

LOVE LOVE LOVE this blush! I had used a friend's La Femme blush a while back and forgot about it. Then I saw your other video talking about it and went on the hunt. Found them both online and in a beauty supply here in Hollywood and finally picked up a few. We totally have the same taste in blush. Hi there, moving into the winter months (here in Toronto it gets rather drab) what color blush would you suggest I use. I am of Italian background with an olive complection, I do however get a little pale in the winter. What could you suggest I use (general of course, since you can't see me) I use to perk up my look so I don't look like a zombie?!

I love LaFemme blushes, absolutely gorgeous colours, wonderful staying-power, & beautiful selection, not to mention so inexpensive. For those asking the pans are 36.83 mm. Also love the blush tip, It makes a great improvement.

So I just wanted to say I purchased yabby cosmetics one pallet then eyeshadows... it was very expensive and many of the pans were half full and just nothing special I wasnt impressed, just thought id let you know my experience and i purchased them directly from yabby!

@MercedesGames ... honestly.... they are ok.. i d k i think for the money i paid over 130 for a pallet and the eyeshadows i should have gone to mac or something pay off is ok... the pearl ones is really good but not enough they are tiny. i dont think i would repurchase there is just too many good products out there that are better and bigger and.. better prices!

Hi Wayne, thanks for this, very interested in these blushes. Great advice from you re application. I was wondering about the palettes. Your first review showed them in a different palette. I tried contacting the company re the pan size but no reply so far. Was wondering if they fit it the MAC palettes? Could you tell us your view is regarding the palettes they come in....I think you are using one of those Z palettes now? ;-)

You look absolutely smashing in this video XD I have a quick question: how can you get blushes too stay on longer? I sometimes have a problem with that. I do not wear liquid foundation (as I am still young, and don't need it). I do wear translucent powder or mineral foundation though. What are your recommendations?

Thanks for the blush tips Wayne!! I have a long face with a prominent chin so I guess I do have to apply it a bit lower than the cheekbone. I don't need contouring as it makes me look even thinner and bonier (is that a word?). Any other tips on making the face look more square? I always cut my hair in layers which I think also helps.
I've always thought that you applied your blush way up but I guess it's a matter of taste.

Sorry, this comment has nothing to do with blushes. I simply wanted to know what you think of Giorgio Armani's Face Fabric Foundation and Laura Mercier's Creme Smooth Foundation--that is if you have tried them? I have a difficult time finding a foundation that completely satisfies me, however, the two that I have mentioned above are the best that I have personally used--and believe me, I have many. They are a bit pricey but I feel that they are worth every penny.

I'd say that applying blush to apples of the cheeks is relative from person to person, if I put put blush on the apples of MY cheeks it ends up aligned with the top of my nostrils...which is perfect placement for my face.

@mzkdluster Hi, I would suggest you go to Makeup Alley and check out the reviews of the reviewers with the skin tone: Dark or Tan -- that is what I did and it helped me immensely when choosing color & I, too, am a caramel color WOC. By the way, my favorite La Femme Blushes are Plum Frost, Golden Sunset, Peach Sparkle, Mocha, Cinnabar, Russert and Bordeaux.

@iAMminky3 Umm, the La Femme eyeshadows are OK, not as pigmented as the the La Femme Blushes; however, I would recommend the Ben Nye eyesahdows they are more pigmented, have a larger color range and are nicer quality than the la Femme eyeshadows. By the way, i own several La Femme eyeshadows but I prefer Ben Nye. I hope this helps.

Hi I know this is not related to this video but I need help! I have combination skin where my tzone can get extremely oily by mid day. I use a similar skincare routine to the one in your "acne cure" video but I also use a mattifying lotion w/ it. I use the graftobian cream foundation & set it with their powder using your pat & roll method with a puff and my makeup looks great..until a couple hours later and I look so greasy! Any tips? I've tried makeup setting sprays and they make me look oiler!

Can u do a video on ur best concealers for under eyes & blemishes? I'm only 26 an don't think I have any visible wrinkles but my mac studio fix concealer for some reason makes me look older, it really sits in the lines. Bobbi brown is similar. Are there any that don't do this??
