Darnit you buggers, give Ms Feehan more munneh for the trailers! Her books are way more beautiful and amazing than these trailers can ever portray! The only ones I havent read of these series is dark Magic and Dark Slayer! (And of course the ones that arent even out yet!) Thumbs up if you agree people should be paying HER to use her ideas for trailers and movies!

what a shame the budgets are so restrictive because i am sure isome of them might put some people off if they saw them on their tv screens.,and they would never know what they were missing....if cos productions did this one then well done, it one of the best that i have seen

I've read all 17 - and currently reading her 18th book of the Dark Series "Dark Slayer". I had that book on hold at the library for over 2 months! I requested it before they even ordered it! XD I'm almost done and I wish I wasn't! I want more!!

Ms. Feehan is undoubtedly now the "Queen"..I really do enjoy her novels, my only comment is that I wish I could afford them, their prices have really priced me out of being able to purchase them..thank goodness for Libraries.

I love the Carpithan books, and Lara is one of my favourites. I have read all the books and am a HUGE fan, BUT....I HATE these vidoes. The men are just not anywhere near good looking enough and the woman are all plain. The video showing Colby is awful, she's SO plain and boring looking. The point of these men are that they are supposed to be GORGEOUS, they have to be since they are so controlling and bossy, they need at least to be hot and sexy so you can understand the iniigtal attraction.

This book was awesome. Lara is one tough cookie! lol Anyhow.. Have Dark Slayer on pre-Order. I cannot wait to learn about the Malinov brothers' sister.. ;-) Should be quite interesting to see how Razvan will integrate with the other Carpathians. Enjoy these books!!

The video is semi-corny but the book it advertises is amazing! Not the best choices in cast in my opinion though. I picture Lara much prettier and Nicolas much taller and broader, the kind of guy that if you seen him walking down your street no matter how hot he may be - you walk on the other side of the road - ya know?

The guy on the book cover would have to stand for Nicolas - in this book Razvan is supposed to look so weakened, scared up and demented that the 'handome' character on the front couldn't possibly be to portray him.

Man I love this trailer. I've seen it at least 200 times (no exaggerhation!) and have been posting the link to this trailer everywhere on Amazon.

I've never read this author before, nor have I read Twilight or any other paranormal romance novel. But I can assure you I will be reading this book very, very soon. If the book is half as good as the trailer, I know I won't be dissappointed.

I really do love her books. Im one of those people that wait for months for the next one, but I just think that the movies need more sustenance. When I look at the trailers I get it that it is a romance but the story lines seem to be lacking a little. I understand that they are low budget, but I still think that there could be more of the story. Thats all.

I love Feehan's books but i have to say that I am not a huge fan of these trailers. Her books are written so well, and yet I find these trailers lacking her wonderful storytelling abilities and any substance in regards to the books. I am one of her many dedicated readers, but not this stuff.

Wow, how can someone who writes such wonderful books have such bad trailers. Come on girl, you can do better then this, the guy looks a little soft and although beautiful, the girl does not appear to be someone who has gone through great pain. I have to agree with the simplistic comment. We know you can do better.

Maybe simplistic isnt the right word. I visualize the Carpathian world full of action, color, eroticism, danger and excitement. I just didnt get those feelings when I watched the trailer. Feehans books would be hard to turn into movies; there would have to be lots of computer graphics and sex scenes.

In addition, I noticed differences between the book and the trailer. For example, the first time Nicholas bit Lara it was from behind and she stabbed him with a dagger, not a knife. I could cite more inconsistencies but Im guessing that since the trailer was created before the book was published many details were not known. And I have certainly never met Gene Simmons, but that actor still reminds me of him!

I am a big fan of the Dark Series. Just finished Dark Curse tonight. I really liked it but wouldn't recommend it to anyone who hasn't read the preceding books.

As for the trailer-hate it. It is slow, simplistic, and Nicholas looks like Gene Simmons, for crying out loud!
