It's never ideal to go to war however it is wrong to let innocent people die by abstaining from protective action.
I have nothing against military action requiring congress approval, I expect in the case of Libya they would approve anyway.

I respect Ron Paul and agree with him on many principles, however he doesn't mention in this speech that Libyan civilians are being slaughtered by an illegitimate dictator and no other nation has the unique military capabilities the US has to help.
It's never ideal to go to war however it is wrong to let innocent people die by abstaining from protective action.
I have nothing against military action requiring congress approval, I expect in the case of Libya they would approve anyway.

So 3 weeks after starting bombardemnts in Libya, what has it achieved? Gaddafi is still in power, the rebels are going nowhere, civilians killed as collateral damaged, billions of dollars in military hardware wasted. Ron Paul 100% correct...yet again.

3. Gaddaf continues to lose support and inner circle members every week because of the bombings. By the most liberal estimate he has a month left, most conservative, one week.
The bombings were necessary and legal. THIS is how you intervene, not like we did in Iraq!

I'd vote for him. I voted for Obama in 2008. We need a strong change in domestic and foreign policy. He's the only sane republican that doesn't appear to have his pockets and agenda lined with money. Always solid every time I hear him talk. Obama vs. Paul in 2012, that would be amazing.

The Options are simple.
1. Leave Libya Alone
2. If the people of Libya wants our Help then they have to agree to our terms and conditions which are: A) They have to PAY US for the entire cost of the War, Plus extra for giving them their country back
B) Once they have control, the country must form a DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT
C) No Nuclear Program what so ever
D) No associations with terrorists or any other group hostile to the U.S.

If I had a client or vendor that needed my services I would give them the option to pay for my services in cash or trade. Most wanted to trade which included my GP, dentist, handyman, plumber, electrician, AD/HVAC man, and landscaper. I still have credit with my dentist and it's time to get my teeth cleaned! Ron Paul has my vote...

Ron Paul, please just say that this war is because of oil. Big oil companies will get oil free in Lybia and sell it to us here in USA for $100 a barrel plus tax. Very good profit margin I would say.
