This makes me smile. It reminds me of home back in the PI. I'm from Tarlac but moved to America when I was real young. They way they talk reminds me of the way older ones talk then. Now though all the kids speak Tagalog and have forgotten Ilokano. I'm glad my parents never let me forget my language. Ket nasayaat ta agsursuru ka ti ilokano. Keep it up! ^_^

He's fluent actually, every Ilocano region have different accent but all Ilocanos came from Ilocos. My roots came from Paoay Ilocos Norte. I'm from Camiling, Tarlac a Ilocano speaking region in Tarlac.

dang what more can u ask for.....he's somewhat good looking, i'm sure he woudn't get thrown out of bed for eating crackers....but ya....its great he can speak a pilipino dialect like ilocano. i was born and raised in the U.S. and i'm proud to say nga makasaoak met ti ilocano, makakantaak pay ti daguiday un-unneg nga kanta like "toy karayo" "ta nagsaway" "bannatiran" most of the ones from my grandparents generation....if they were living today they'd be like 102 years old....
