In England it's fairly common for girls to not take an interest in guys until they are about 12/13, and plenty of people go to all girls schools like myself so you CAN'T spend every minute with your boyfriend.I just have fun when I'm with my boyfriend when I see him, and text him to see how he is etc.I think they help me to not be as clingy as some girls. I think it's a good idea to simply have fun when you can and keep in touch and you won't feel as pressured to be with him ALL the time.

I think clinginess really comes from stress. If you can find a way to relieve your stress, it helps a lot. Personally, I like going to the gym with some of my girlfriends everyday. It gets your mind off things for a while and you feel SO good about yourself afterwards. : ) Give it a shot.

First of all, Girls: ask yourself why you are doing this? I mean being "Clingy". Once you find the answer for that work your way to satisfy the need of the answer. Always!! and I mean ALWAYS find the reason behind the situation and try to fix it. There is a saying "Too much of a good thing turn it to bad", it's good if you ask about your bf but too much is NO GOOD. clingy girls are annoying, its like they have nothing else going on in there life, so I become the only thing they care about. I prefer a girl who is a little more self-sufficient and self-involved.
clingy-ness can be a result of some psychological issues too, so in some cases i don't think it can be dismissed so easily, i would suggest therapy.... if its super out of hand, or understand why you are clingy in the first place
so basically for calling and texting them think to yourself "have i texted him yesterday or today?" if you did then put down the phone or talk to someone else :) thats what i do and it really helps :)
if i dont want to be clingy ill change is name in my phone o something like uncle mike or somethng like that so i would feel weird like dirty texting them or anything. then when they text me first i change it back to their real name. :)

So this definitely goes both ways. Space from people is a good good thing, and most often is what keeps a relationship going. You need seperation from one another in order to keep things from getting stale, or to just have time to yourself. To keep the peace, keep your space.

Honestly, I think if he loves you, he's going to love spending time with you and he's going to love and even need the attention that you're giving him. On the other hand, if he's not that into you, it doesn't really matter if you're clingy of not, chances are the relationship is not going to work anyway.
You don't have to change into something that's not "you". I think it's a matter of finding the person who loves it when you're clingy; that's when you know they really love you back.
Hey, I am really lost... The guy I like is outgoing and friendly with everyone (including other girls) except me. @welovechocolatte From what you have said, the way I see it is that he probably likes you back, but maybe doesn't know how to act around you/tell you this. I know it sounds cliche and it's probably hard to do this, but the best way to find out what is going on is to talk to him. You don't have to be straight forward like: "hey, i like you, why are you ignoring me?", but maybe you can strike up a conversation about this and see where it goes. I wish you good luck! :)

@xoxReviewGrlxox Guys don't notice small things like "omg your makeup is so pretty" or "your shoes are stunning!" BUT they do notice "the big picture". They like it if you show that you are taking care of yourself, like having a nice body shape, taking care of your skin/hair, putting on some makeup, etc. You don't need the attention of all guys, you just need the attention of the right one(s). ;)

I like clingy girls but in a limit too much clingy is a NO NO. I'm saying this if a girl is clingy it makes me realize that she is wants to really hang out and do stuff otherwise if a boy or I get clingy with my girl I start getting the feeling that I called her and she might not what to hang out with me and she said YES just not to make me sad or make me feel lonely. I think clinginess really comes from stress. If you can find a way to relieve your stress, it helps a lot. Personally, I like going to the gym with some of my girlfriends everyday. It gets your mind off things for a while and you feel SO good about yourself afterwards. : ) Give it a shot.

First of all, Girls: ask yourself why you are doing this? I mean being "Clingy". Once you find the answer for that work your way to satisfy the need of the answer. Always!! and I mean ALWAYS find the reason behind the situation and try to fix it. There is a saying "Too much of a good thing turn it to bad", it's good if you ask about your bf but too much is NO GOOD. And try to involve someone to help you, your bf will be an excellent choice let them know so they could help you. Hope that helps ;)

You should teach guys not to be creepers! I don't know if they think they're being smooth or whatever, but if I just met you, or whatever, DON'T follow me around and always be talking to me. As a girl, I am not very clingy. A lot of my friends go nuts when they have boyfriends but when they break up, I realize that it was a fairly SHORT relationship they had and they get really depressed over it. I always end up with a clingy guy and I hate it! I hate clingy. I myself am not clingy and treasure my alone time just as much as I would treasure a date or a good time with friends. So this definitely goes both ways. Space from people is a good good thing, and most often is what keeps a relationship going. You need seperation from one another in order to keep things from getting stale, or to just have time to yourself. To keep the peace, keep your space.

Honestly, I think if he loves you, he's going to love spending time with you and he's going to love and even need the attention that you're giving him. On the other hand, if he's not that into you, it doesn't really matter if you're clingy of not, chances are the relationship is not going to work anyway.
You don't have to change into something that's not "you". I think it's a matter of finding the person who loves it when you're clingy; that's when you know they really love you back.

Hey, I am really lost... The guy I like is outgoing and friendly with everyone (including other girls) except me. He actually acts like I do not exist - avoids talking directly to me, but when he does it he actually stares into my eyes. And when I talk with other friends he soetimes comes up to me and says something competely off the wall but it is something that lets us all understand that he was actually listening. @welovechocolatte From what you have said, the way I see it is that he probably likes you back, but maybe doesn't know how to act around you/tell you this. I know it sounds cliche and it's probably hard to do this, but the best way to find out what is going on is to talk to him. You don't have to be straight forward like: "hey, i like you, why are you ignoring me?", but maybe you can strike up a conversation about this and see where it goes. I wish you good luck! :)

@xoxReviewGrlxox Guys don't notice small things like "omg your makeup is so pretty" or "your shoes are stunning!" BUT they do notice "the big picture". They like it if you show that you are taking care of yourself, like having a nice body shape, taking care of your skin/hair, putting on some makeup, etc. You don't need the attention of all guys, you just need the attention of the right one(s). ;)
