My Younger Sister, a Researcher by Training, dug out some Family History a while ago. Stravinsky' Maternal Grandfather and I share the Same last name, Saxony heritage and a love of Sour Cream infused Beef Gravy. 5/4 Time and for me, it all correlated to a intrinsic appreciation of the Piece.....Rock on....JB.
@franklywright Yep, the Orchestra of Venezuela, the Simon Bolivar YOuth orchestra!! One of the best orchestras in the whole world. Their recordings are those with the most emotion, the most powerful and full of energy!!! Love them!! :))))))))) <3 <3 <3
He has ear memory that's all. You can notice at the moment He doesnt know where He is at. He asks the orchestra the numbers rehearsals. when Conductor knows the score....He knows the score
Rehearsal..having studied and consumed Stravinsky for almost 45 years, I find the energy great, but he's pushed tempi to where the piece is ragged and sloppy. This, of course, is a rehearsal, but I am more concerned with tempo. The rhythms may not sound if played too fast.
BTW, yes, early heavy metal bands (aka Iron Butterfly and Led Zeplin) in the 60's and early 70's said the Le Sacre was an influence.
creo que le mandaria un email como minimo pidiendo una explicacion mas amplia y terminarian haciendo un ballet de rock inspirados en el Alma Llanera...creo no se ...
