  • Sorry to say this but your voice sounds like the guy from Faulty Towers. liked the video, but faulty towers kept running through my head...I was waiting for Mauel to come in at some point.

  • Use a metal container with a rubber mat at the bottom. Then connect the positive cable to the container. Take some coat hangers and tie the parts to a 2 x 4 which you can lay across the top of the container. Connect the negative cable to the coat hangers. The metal container gives you 360 degree electrolysis. In fact, if you could hang the parts suspended in the solution without hitting the bottom, you can do without the rubber mat and get even better electrolysis.

  • Great video, I have been contemplating trying this for a while, Watched it last night, tried it today, bingo, worked perfectly. (although its 99p for morrisons soda crystals)

    Cheers

  • how do i know which wire is negative and which wire is positive when i'm taking apart a charger?

  • @truso what kind of charger? use a volt meter to figure it out if you don't take note of the wire color.

  • @fetymann i'm not sure what kind of charger to use, is there a certain volt or dc that I should use? i have a bunch of chargers laying around.

  • @truso From what I've seen, 12 volt will do fine, but I think the amperage needs to be somewhat high. Google around and see what others say.
