  • Hey thanks man! I didn't do videos back then but I'm pretty proud of the song cover itself.

  • You sound exactly like John, man...it's weird.

  • woow! I read your ifno of this song! the sound is perfect!, I liked so much the sound of the "sitar" in your guitar! done by ear? or exist a tab?

  • Wow, this sounds as if I'm listening to the Beatles. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE the Beatles....but I can't hear "Dan" in there anywhere. How about making it your own in some way? Just my opinion....

  • lovely acoustic work!

  • Hi there,, you did such a good job,,i live in Vancouver Canada and i have a studio in my house and i spend s lot of time doing the same thing youre doing,,keep doing it!!! great staff the Beatles are the best band ever!! ..

  • Another great cover of a great song. I have a recording of my daughter singing this when she was around 6 years old.. One of her favourite songs and this is one of my favourites covers. 5*'s!

  • good job with guitar mixing and great vocals

  • Another beautifully done beatles song, never get tired of listening to this, you even go to the extra effort of putting together a really nice montage of pictures to accompany which not only makes it a pleasure to listen to but also a pleasure to watch, another one for my favourites.

  • Such an amazing song, isn't it? And a very nice rendition.

  • really really nice man

  • spectacular! Bravo! You hit a home run...take a bow video maker...this is a very fine stereo 'restored' version of 'norwegian wood'...along with nice beatle pics. A save!

  • Oh wow this is great, you are very, very good.

  • And this is a home recording? Amazing.

I always liked the Takamine..Now I know why.

    Rather impressed dantheman!

  • Thanks a lot JL1. The trick is to use an external mic when you record the guitar. The mic inside the guitar is good for playing live but doesn't sound as "natural" when recording (IMHO)

  • Sure do appreciate that tip dantheman, and your IMHO is welcome anytime!

  • @JulianLennon1 Yeah I have a Takamine ESF 40C like Glen Freys and it's pretty sweet

  • @gitarzan1 Now you're talkin' gitarzan1!

  • @gitarzan1 Now you're talkin' gitarzan1!

  • I need to check this out again. I blame it on my headphones, but I have a better pair at home. So far so good! Thumbs up!

  • Shared, favorited, 5 stars.

  • Thanks for sharing this with me.

  • this was the greatest cover I ever heard, Thanks Tim !

  • this was the greatest comment I ever read, Thanks man! ;)

  • hey Dan, your welcome, thanks to Beatleologist, he sent me here !......its one of my favorites !

  • Well done!!! This could have been the Beatles! That's some radical panning! What did you record this on?

  • Hey thanks! I used "Home studio 2004" for everything (record, mix, pan, equalize, reverb.. you name it!) I don't even have a real mixing console

  • Oh yeah..! MUCH better! I like the isolated tracks. It really has the feel of an old Beatles recording. Oustanding work my friend! Blown away! ~Jon

  • Thanks again FHK! It's funny how I never noticed the stereo to mono thing before. But the original version really split tracks and I wanted to try it myself
